Last night we hosted October's BIG Bury Business Expo, which featured over 50 exhibitors, hundreds of registered delegates, lots of fundraising and even a pop-up art gallery!

After 9 years of Expos, we have never had anything pop-up apart from roller banners, but this year was different - we had an art gallery! The pop-up gallery, in the room adjacent to the Expo, showcased work from E. Anthony Orme, a Manchester-born artist (and one of our headline sponsors). In the gallery were stunning paintings, prints and mugs featuring landscapes from the artist’s travels, which certainly grabbed the attention of all those attending.

Alongside this, and lots of exhibitors and delegates, the evening saw plenty of fundraising for The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity - another one of our fantastic sponsors.

With donations from local businesses, including a stunning E. Anthony Orme painting, a raffle took place and over £500 was raised for the Bury-based charity - more than we've ever raised before!

Delegates received a goody bag, buffet provided by Delicious and an evening of networking with some of Bury’s best businesses. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We’d like to thank, The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity, the  E. Anthony Orme Gallery, Atkins International and BCC Cars, as well as our fantastic exhibitors and everyone who attended.

With plenty of networking from all and lots of fantastic feedback, we're pleased to say that October's Expo was a BIG success; who knows what March's will bring, eh?
