Homes Under The Hammer is a popular TV show for many. Watched by 1,000's, the show follows the journey of 3 properties per programme, starting from auction through to renovation.
In each programme a guide price is set by the auction house and we follow the progress, starting with an introduction to the buyer.
For each property, an independent valuation takes place and the programme invite local estate agents
to explain the property's worth, before and after it's refurbishment. The programme which aired on Thursday 24th May featured popular Bury estate and letting agent, Belvoir Sales and Lettings, one of our very own members of thebestofbury.
Managing Director of Belvoir Bury, Phil Collett visited the property on Cateaton Street to give his expert opinion of the property prior to sale at auction. A few months later, Phil revisited to see how much the property had increased in value due to it's refurbishment. This included plastering, painting and decorating and incorporated a new bathroom suite and kitchen.
Once again, Phil's expert opinion was delivered on both the sales and rental market potential.
It was great to see Phil make his TV debut. Incredibly professional, well informed and knowledgeable
and a great representation of his business which he runs alongside his business partner, MD Chris Roberts.
Being on the programme is great exposure for a company that has grown dramatically over the last few years to incorporate new offices and new locations across the north west.
We're sure that this won't be the last we see of Phil on TV, as no doubt, he's now got the bug to make more appearances should the opportunity arise.
