Everyone here at thebestofbury is getting very excited about our upcoming event at The Rock Bury on Saturday 5th February as part of our popular 14 Days Of Love Campaign.
The nationwide campaign runs from 1st - 14th February is a fantastic way to show your love for local businesses up and down the country! We are encouraging people in Bury to "share some love" for their favourite businesses - after all, they are the unsung heroes of our community and have battled through the economic situation over the last 18 months.
Sharing the love for local businesses during this fantastic campaign couldn't be easier - just click on to our website or fill out a testimonial card with one of our members! The Loveometer will be appearing on our website throughout the campaign for you to see who's getting the most love in their category. We haven't mentioned the best bit yet either - if you tell us about a local business you love you'll be entered into our draw and have a chance of winning prizes such as dinner at a Michelin Star restaurant, ferrari driving experiences, apple iPads, theatre tickets and spa days!
To ensure that this campaign is bigger and better than ever, we will be at The Rock Bury on Saturday 5th November, 10am - 4pm with one aim - to make The Rock Bury the most loved attraction in the whole of the UK! We'll be asking local people to tell us why they love The Rock and they will also be entered into a draw for more prizes including a meal for two with wine at Nando's and vouchers for the popular Garra Rufa natural fish pedicure treatment at The Beauty Spa! This superb prize draw is being organised in support of Bury Hospice, our Charity of the Year for 2011. The prize winners will be drawn by local celebrity Gemma Atkinson.
If you're at The Rock Bury for this event you won't be able to miss us - we'll have a huge red gazebo, balloons, stickers, "I'm A Great Lover" badges and even a gigantic red heart mascot affectionately known as Juliette Love! Rossendale Radio will also be with us for the day doing a live broadcast and our videographer Gordan (Pronto Multimedia) will be out and about capturing what shoppers have to say about The Rock Bury on video!
