Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice is asking children across Manchester to enlist in a one-day-only Junior Guerrilla Gardening Army which will invade Radcliffe on 16 September and bombard the area with thousands of forget-me-not flower seeds.

St Marys Primary School in Haslingden are presenting a summer production in aid of Bury Hospice. "The Sound of St Marys" features Sean Ruane and will feature songs from a number of musicals including The Lion King, Cats and Joseph ending in Sean taking to the stage with excerpts of Les Miserables.

The charity is urging women of all ages, shapes and sizes to enter Race for Life 5k,10k or Pretty Muddy at Heaton Park, Manchester on 8th and 9th July 2017.
