The staff were friendly and the room was clean BUT the shower leaked all over the floor which isn't safe, the room was very warm and the window opens a tiny bit (room fan seemed to make it warmer) The pool was okay although it seemed to have a fair bit of sand in it? The people staying in the room next door were vile and kept me awake so I had to move to another room at 1am to try and get some sleep! Kids were running up and down the corridor which was SO annoying. 😴😴 I doubt I'll come back..

Some small issues , window would not close and cover missing from bathroom shower. Hotel was otherwise clean and in decent location. Reasonable price of £5 for late check out at 1pm.

A pleasant hotel with wonderfully friendly, helpful and pleasant staff. Food is adequate, drinks a little pricey but dont let this put you off. Rooms are more than well equipped, quite and comfortable.

I went to a wedding here..the evening meal was held in room next to gym and pool..in basement room was decorated ..but bar didnt sell tea or coffee.and inbetween the wedding and room getting prepared sat in main bar with sports tv etc.which was fine.but after meal had leave room again sit in public bar whilsr that room prepared. Seemed ok as hotel but no main reception a stand..and one person ..for a wedding it certainly isnt a private affair.but the rooms looked ok..and gym and pool.

Lovely hotel, nice decor, very comfy bed! There's plenty going on so another visit will be planned soon! Little one enjoyed making use of the pool!

I went here for a Spa day with my mrs. Upon arrival it was adequate. Me and my wife were waiting a few mins to be seen. They asked us what treatment we wanted and they were both 30 mins each. I got offered one treatment for 30 mins and the second was abismal. My treatment only lasted 35 minutes whilst my wife enjoyed the full hour. Not happy with their service and the massage was disappointing to say the least.

The rooms are nice and modern with ensuite bathroom with a shower big enough for two.
The bar is large with large screens for sport days.

Me and my new husband would like to first of all say thank you for making our wedding day so special, from start to finish everything was well planned, nothing was to much trouble and you made sure everything run smoothly for us . The room was dressed amazingly and everyone commented on how gorgeous the food was. Thankyou to all of the team at the village for helping make our dream wedding a reality, roll on 12mths time so we can spend our 1st anniversary here 🍾🥂 Shelley&Paul xx

Nice hotel clean rooms. Good car parking for plenty of cars. Food and drinks over priced. priced. The clientel mainly are either going to the gym or business people staying the night. Good location for transport links.

Great Hotel. I go a great price too. Health spa is very nice. This is my go to hotel when I visit the Arcade Club in Bury as it's only 5min walk away.

It was all last min i always enjoy having a friendly drink and chat in the bar and lastnight drank to much i booked a room was cheap n cheerful and staff very helpful thank you for a pleasent last min stay!

Went for the carvery on Sunday, it wasn't bad but it has gone downhill compared to a couple of years ago. The choice just isn't the same as it used to be so the value for money isn't as good.

The food was fantastic but the service was terrible despite the waiting on staff being very pleasant. Waited 35 minutes for our ordered drinks & nearly an hour for our meal.

Just joined the gym, 3 visits and already feel like I know everyone. Like the idea of a Starbucks coffee after my workout, of course a skinny latte.

Fab 4 course carvery. Downside is raw beef. It's roast beef not fillet steak and would be ok if it was expensive piece of meat but cheaper cuts need cooking
