Stayed last weekend at this hotel. What can I say ?? FABULOUS!!! Every member of staff had a smile on their face (it was quite infectious). !! Nothing was too much trouble for them. They helped my husband in the gym area and swimming pool. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The rooms were spotless - and comfy beds !! Would move in if I could. Thank you all at Bury !! We’ll be back.

I attended an event for Annabelle's challenge, I travelled from Australia to attend the event, I was greeted by great service especially from a girl named Caitlin, she has a great personality, she made me feel welcome and made sure I was enjoying my visit, I tavel to England a lot and this was by far the best experience I've had in any hotel, great facilities, great people, amazing experience

I stayed here recently with my family.
All the staff were very friendly and welcoming especially Sarah and Donetta. My kids loved the swimming pool.
Excellent amenities and a nice modern bar and restaurant area. I will visit again soon.

I have been delivering training to health care staff on a regular basis at this hotel. The rooms are conducive for good training events and the support from all staff is amazing. Worthy of specific mention are Alison, Harry and Ryan who have responded positively to a wide range of requests from delegates as well as helping the trainer resolve any IT issues that occur. It is also appreciated that we get to leave training equipment here between events which greatly helps with transportation. I actively look forward to delivering training here and a large part of this is knowing that Alison, Harry and Ryan are there to support. Thank you!

Had a lovely weekend here , the reception team were so friendly and helpful , they couldn’t do enough to make the weekend excellent , told us about some lovely areas to walk.

Breakfast was spot on , didn’t eat onsite as we were meeting friends in the town but menu looked nice when I had a browse.

Had a lovely swim and it was so clean. The atmosphere in the hotel was lovely.

We will be back and would recommended it in a heartbeat.

Thank you to all the lovely staff

Reasonably priced rooms but food and drink very expensive and poor quality bar food . Staff very young and seem to be constantly chatting to one another often ignoring guests.

Superb Had some difficulty with the booking, but the staff were more than happy to help. Check-in was straightforward and fast. Bed was excellent - while the mattress was a little firm for my tastes, the duvet was excellent and probably the fluffiest I've ever had. Room had air conditioner available and bathroom was in top condition. Extremely satisfied!

We stayed at the Village Bury for the first time this weekend, just me and my son (6 years old), as we were having a weekend in Manchester.

On arrival, we were greeted by a really friendly gentleman who gave my son a HUGE platinum jubilee lolly which, needless to say; he was over the moon about. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and we were in our room in less than five minutes.

The room was a great size with all the mod cons (including a Dyson fan) and was clean; there were absolutely no complaints. The bed was really comfortable, and we both got a decent night's sleep.

Whilst at the hotel, we used the pool facilities, which were great, modern and clean changing rooms and a good-sized pool and the gym facilities looked brilliant.

My only issue of the whole trip was how lacklustre the gym staff were. We booked the day pass, and the guy on the desk seemed confused that we weren't members and didn't seem to understand that I had paid for access to the facilities. When I went to the locker room and asked another guest/member how to lock them, he said I should have been given a wristband at reception (i wasn't), so I had to go to the desk again. Again the staff member couldn't seem to grasp I was a hotel guest and not a member, and it felt like a bit of a negotiation to get one of the wrist bands for a locker for mine and my son's clothes; I will add that the locker access was given somewhat grudgingly with a "make sure you brought that back" when they gave me the wrist band. This is where they lose a star from me, unfortunately.

The restaurant facilities were excellent with a good selection of food; we had the buffet breakfast, which easily beat some of its competitors on variety.

Overall a really good stay and we would visit again.

Great hotel and lovely staff. Had a nice night away for my little girls birthday. My daughter especially enjoyed the pool time and the breakfast, it was yummy! The bed was so comfortable too and very spacious

I was there as a photographer for an event so I didn't spend the night or book a room. The hall was spacious and the event went spectacular but there was no air conditioning and the hotel staff had only one person serving drinks so people kept complaining about how hot it was and how long it took to buy a drink.
Sorry to put a negative review but that's the feedback I got from people who attended the event. I hope the hotel reads this review and gets the air conditioning fixed. More bar staff means you sell more drinks and make more money

I have been working with the hotel for many years doing various events there and I have to say a special mention goes to Jess in the sales team. We speak oftern regarding different ventures at the hotel and I can not speak highly enough about her. She always makes time to answer any questions I have, quite oftern goes above and beyond to help me with anything I need and never ever settles for second best. I hope that she is there for many years to come as she makes events witin the venue run effortlessly.

Good stayed many times before , great location , great facilities there apparently was a problem with a water pipe and as a consequence there was no water for about an hour , no one bothered to contact us and so my other half had to go to reception to find out what was going on. i have raynauds syndrome and so need access to water , preferably warm at all times , septic I have an episode , so it did panic me and it annoyed me that no one bothered to explain what was going on
