Nice hotel in nice quiet location. Plenty of parking spaces, Large reception/lounge area. Room nice and big with comfortable bed. Overall very pleased with our stay at Village Hotel Bury. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Adequate but very noisy , a quiet lounge for older people would have been good. Bed and room comfortable. Breakfast good but cold by the time we got to the table No decaf tea of coffee in room which I need for medical reasons and B&Bs always have it. Decaff coffee was provided when I asked for it. No shower cap. Towel rails would have been good, it was a job to put everything on those hooks. The ginger smelling hand wash was horrible and long lasting.

We booked The Village as the venue for our Year 11 Ball, and we weren't disappointed. Throughout the organisation of the event, Jess was amazing and made sure all the little touches were there to make the evening a great success. She couldn't have done more for us. Ryan took care of us during the evening, and was so patient with us, not an easy task when you have 150 16 year olds! The room itself was perfect: all decorations were in our school colours, and small things like a red carpet and welcome drinks (mocktail) reception made sure that our students were given the night of their life. We cannot thank the staff at The Village enough for giving our students memories to last a lifetime.

Used the venue again for a business meeting and decided as a change to stay over the night before - very glad we did. Room was great and getting up and going to the meeting saved battling the morning traffic. As always Alison was a great help during the day making sure we had everything we needed and Jessica was fantastic organising our booking for both the evening and day.

Unfortunately we was woken by the people next door to us shouting, it was that bad we had to go to reception to let them know, the hotel bouncer attended and the noise soon came to a stop.

Excellent stay way exceeded expectations, great staff, great room and brilliant value for money. The Village has always been on my list of potential hotels but now I will use it a lot more. Special thanks to Mike Dixon for arranging everything.

Rather expensive for meals noticeably steaks and desserts was not as expensive last time we stayed b4 covid .i know prices have gone up but trying to recoup their lost revenue quickly will only drive loyal customers away .i for one will not be dining in the restaurant if i return to the hotel in future

We held our Y11 Prom at the Village on Tuesday 5th July.
The staff who supported on the evening were wonderful and extremely helpful especially Claire who went above and beyond to support the evening. Also, Ryan who couldn't have done enough for our students.
All staff were complimentary of ours students and worked really hard to make them have a great evening.
In addition, Jessica - the event organiser was very supportive and helpful during the planning stage.
Only criticism is that the Prom toilet were shared with members of the public, we would have preferred toilets only accessible to our students.

After waiting two + years due to covid to visit our friends we managed to get a booking Friday - Sunday at the village hotel bury! As an added bonus with nhs discount via blue light!

We stayed in one of the club rooms which were outstanding! Our trip fell unfortunately the night of prom but even with that we had a perfect nights sleep! We heard no noise what so ever.

The beds were the biggest beds I have stopped in and were so comfortable. I normally struggle to sleep in a hotel but had no issue here!

My fiancé tried a steak from the hotel pub/grill and said the steak was one of the best he has had only being beaten by millers and carter.

To cut a long positive review short we will 100% be stopping here again.

I unfortunately don’t know the bar man’s name who was working Saturday the 2nd July night in the hotel but he was hysterical and made our cheeky night cap so much more enjoyable.

We stayed with a wedding party and the Hotel was itself a goog experience The room was extremely comfortable and well stocked, breakfast was good but we felt a little over priced Bar service in function room, the pumps were not switched on and staff had little idea and were slow

Good but beware Good hotel and staff were great The billing sysytem and upgrades additions id so complex I am sure i was billed for items twice but its so confusing. Paid via booking.com but extra upgrade had to be paid at hotel, hotel then took original booking payment then extra for breakfast minus pre booking discount then plus upgade add into the mix any drinks bought afyer 12 and its a nightmare So i would not book again

Nice looking hotel and room, friendly staff. Pool is very nice and bar is good.
Let down by dusty rooms, not properly cleaned. Side units and by wardrobe, see photos. Fan spewed out dust and filled the room. Lack of air conditioning. Noise insulation is poor, can hear people walking around in room above and slamming of doors everywhere. Towel radiator seems to be out of test date. Toilet roll holder falling off. Room 140.
Just general maintenance issues, maybe a remnant of covid?
Finally lack of phone! Who wants to use a chat app when talking to hotel reception downstairs?

Wonderful stay… friendly and engaging staff upon arrival. Linda Halliwell and team couldn’t do enough to ensure a smooth stay. Great facilities available for guests and whilst busy everything is always available and accessible. Parking is easy and check in always quick. Rooms are a great size with great amenities and are always extremely clean! Never a chore having to stay here whilst working away!

Nothing is too much for the team at The Village.
I always send last minute requests and it is always confirmed straight away.

I would highly recommend the hotel, especially, Jessica and Linda as they are incredibly helpful and dutiful.

Thank you so much for all of your help,

The service in the main bar was great , but the room we were in for the wedding reception down stairs wasn't working. It meant that everytime you wanted a pint you had to go upstairs to the main bar .

The rooms and booking process was incredibly straight forward and simple. Jessica handled our booking from start to finish for around 15 delegates and was very accommodating when we had to adjust certain rooms and extend several bookings and sorting us a table in the restaurant. Thanks once again and I would definitely visit again - a lovely hotel

We had the pleasure of having our daughters christening celebration at the village bury. From start to finish, from originally booking the venue and arranging all the entertainment, food and decorations to the actual day of the event was perfect.
Special mention to Jess who liased with me throughout the booking process and arranged everything. Also Thankyou to Ryan and Megan on the day who were amazing and always made sure everything went smoothly. I would also like to thank the lady who was there when I dropped the cake off in the morning (I can’t remember her name but she was really helpful)
The entertainment was fantastic and everyone had a great time!
Thankyou so much village bury for making my little girls christening such a special and memorable day.
