First experience of going to a gym and we met Sophie who advised us in person of all the different opportunities at the gym. Thanks to Sophie, she gave me the confidence to join and made me feel happy that this was something I could do for me. Since then, and due to Sophie's kindness and understanding with such a polite manner, I have now recommended her and the gym to my family members and others who have now joined. Always smiling, welcoming and approachable.
Thanks so much Sophie x

Very good Hotel was well located and the room was bigger than expected and very clean. The food in the bar was very good too. All staff were friendly. Reception area not well set up and no signage to direct as to what to do. All them steps with luggage!

Village in a Bubble Clean, modern, quiet yet lots of opportunities to enjoy food and drink around the lobby. It's a village! The pool and gym are busy but excellent too. Very efficient friendly staff from reception to bar staff to cleaners. Big car park, lots of disabled parking, lifts at every level too. TV showing premium sports and films too, not just basic packages. Beds are exceptionally comfy and good black out curtains. Big bathroom. Just off M66 and 5 minutes drive from bury centres shopping. Nothing

Nice stay would stay again The property was a nice building with lovely rooms the staff were friendly to a lift to floors We were there for a wedding anniversary party so the function room was very well presented. Not that I didn’t like it but the buffet breakfast could be better for £12.50 (£10 if paid day before you leave) All a bit mish mash.

Lovely break away The room was perfect, so comfortable There was nothing we didn't like, apart from rude guest complaining about beans running out at breakfast!! The staff were working as hard as they could to keep all the guests happy. The staff were so professional. They kept smiling and were very lovely a credit to the company. We would definatly return to the hotel it was good value for money.

I was expecting a very calm and quiet hotel as the name being a village hotel. But along with the hotel, the public accessible gym/health club and the Bar/Grill made it very lively and busy. We got welcomed by Muneeb at the reception. Someone who is so happy to serve! He was very helpful in every moment, and understood our needs very quickly and sorted all we needed without even asking for any. We left the reception after checkin with a happy face, that is all matters for a holiday beginning.
Facilities: Highlight is the access to a good quality Gym and spacious Pool/sauna/steam/jacuzzi. Pub/Grill I was not super impressed. I wouldn’t recommend breakfast from there. Felt very limited in options, and in general staff weren’t in a hospitality mood even for dinner, It is more designed to serve local customers. Room was neat and spacious beds were comfortable. Toilets and shower was just as expected. No chiller and water bottle in room felt like something missing in comparison to my just previous Novotel stay. Starbucks is a bonus. Overall after two days of stay in the hotel, we all checked out with satisfaction. Thank you village hotel and Muneeb, will come back again if I visit Bury next time. 👍

Very enjoyable- particularly appreciated the cleanliness of the room Excellent assistance from Nubeen (?) on reception. Sorry, I can’t quite remember his name. All the steps to the main entrance ( my wife is not able to easily cope with so many) and we didn’t notice any signage for a lift. We were told there was one, & where it was, once we had reached reception.

My stay was good. It was clean, bed was comfortable, the Dyson fan was sick, pool and sauna were good. PG tips banging. Extra charges for late check out and other facilities (swimming, gym). Our electricity stopped working one night and didn’t get compensated for it.

Clean bedroom ..big bed...shame about the breakfast.. Was OK....the only problem was when having the sausages ..they were cold also using the hot water for a cup of tea....wasn't hot enough...plus the TV didn't have a reception. Breakfast...more selection and TV working properly..the food was to expensive ...had to go to the pub next door for a meal...

I have been a member for many years. I pay up front yearly as this suits my lifestyle. I have had to freeze my membership several times for various personal reasons. I have the App but I am not very IT savvy . Gina Mellor one of the sales Managers has always supported me with any issues. She promptly answers emails and goes out of her way to resolve issues . She is always bubbly and professional .
As a result I have encouraged friends to join a .

Lovely hotel but too lively for young family The family room was amazing big beds enough room for us all and a cot It was so loud. At 3am the nightclub people were all going home then at 5am there was shouting. I don't think I would book again as a family even though the rooms were so nice
