The staff were fabulous especially at breakfast and the room was quiet and stunning clean bathrooms keep it up guys we will be back in the future. Ideal stop over if visiting the steam train for a meal.

Would like to see more room offers on a regular basis. Overall happy with the service and facilities. Liked being able to put food shopping in the hotel fridge, but would be nice to have a fridge in the room.

Fantastic stay, staff were all amazing. Breakfast was lovely. We stayed with a group of friend to celebrate my husbands 40th, great location, walking distance to the arcade club. Pool looked lovely, but we didn't have time to use the facilities. Will be back 😊

This hotel has nice decor, great facilities and a nice restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful. In side it looks like a four star. The thing that is not so great is soundproofing ( non existent on the M66 side) and parties... Unfortunately I was kept awake most of the night by party goers , however, my Dad, on a different floor was fine so I guess it's pot luck. If you are a light sleeper or need to be up for work be aware of this.

We stayed for one night as we had a family wedding at the fishermans retreat nearby. Very clean and comfortable beds. We booked a family room. There was a double bed, large single and a camping bed set up. Just about enough room but we literally used it to sleep in overnight. We used the leisure facilities in the morning and that was wonderful. Everything went smoothly. No bath only a shower. Big TV and fan. Lovely stay

We booked the Village Manchester Bury for the weekend after we had previously stayed at another Village Hotel and really enjoyed it. We also upgraded the room but wished we hadn't as the standard room we had previously stayed in had been much more pleasant and comfortable.. The experience just seemed almost second rate which was such a disappointment after we had really looked forward to the weekend.

So I previously reviewed this place based on a not so great experience. I've now stayed a few more times, first because there was nowhere else close by and I must say, the lady that has met with me at reception has been great and because of her, I keep coming back. She remembers my name and has on one occasion asked me what room I would like. Great customer service and I hope she keeps it up

Great hotel, but very noisy with parties on Friday/Saturday until 1pm. Don't stay weekends unless you plan to party. Rest of the week was fine. Food is good and right off the motorway exit. Nice bar with a sports TV. Gym and pool are outstanding.

The room clean cosy and relaxing . we sat in the restaurant till very late we did not feel rushed . The lovely reception man even gave me a little jug of mike so I could enjoy a much needed coffee in my room rather than use the UHT milk . Lovely clean hotel.
Lovely staff, Emma and Ashley were so friendly and helpful.
Drinks are quite pricey but lovely bar and atmosphere.
Not so sure about the children's play area situated at the door as you enter, quite off putting when you are coming in for a quite drink.

Didn't enjoy the stay because, the wall were so thin, I was able to hear the couple next door argue till well after 2am. When I phoned down to inform the night porter, there was no one there. Little sleep that night.
