Visited the hotel pub for Friday burger for a pound deal. Seating area nice and open, staff friendly. Ordered burgers with bacon and fries and although fairly busy they arrived soon after. More of a good snack rather than a full meal but already knew that as had many times before. Well worth it and easy to access from motorway junction.

The standard room was absolutly beautiful. I booked this room as a place for my friend and I to sleep after out night out for Halloween. Checking in was really easy and the facilities are clearly signed. The room was a lot bigger than I had expected, plenty of room for my friend and I to get changed into our outfits, with a mirror big enough for us both to share. The room had everything we needed including a really nice choice of coffee and tea, a huge TV and nice smelling toiletries in the bathroom. The bathroom itself was spotless, unfortunatly with all hotels of its size it does suffer with having a shower that doesn't get as hot as I like and isn't very powerful. However the best part about the stay was the bed! It has a very cosy mattress topper which made the bed so easy to fall asleep on and gave my friend and I the best sleep I think I've ever had in any hotel. The staff are friendly and genuinely happy to help, I would recommend this hotel to anyone who will listen 10/10 on every front!

Like this place a lot. Staff are very friendly, rooms comfortable. Has a bar and restaurant as well as a spa including a pool. Great place to stay to explore the surrounding area. Also has a carvery pub next door and close to motorway exit. Expect to pay hotel prices for drinks though.

Cracking hotel in a great location. The rooms are comfy and we had great service from all the staff also you can use the facilities on site so we take our grandson to the big swimming pool which is a 25 meter pool and is really really good. Location is perfect close to the M 62 and Bury town centre and a great location for visiting friends and family we been back a few times and will be back again it’s also great value for money

Went to the hotel to use the gym after purchasing a pass via payasugym. Pros: Fantastic gym with a range of modern equipment. We were even able to use the squash court for free and rackets and balls were free to hire too! Friendly and helpful staff! Cons: poor phone signal as gym is in the basement. Headroom was quite small so doing box jumps was a bit scary. Be sure to bring your own towel as they cost 1.50 and it's not a deposit.

Check in was very quick and easy. The rooms are a good size and very clean. The only downside was the breakfast. Continental was great and plenty of choice but the cooked breakfast was the same pre-cooked sausages and scrambled eggs they use at holiday Inn express. I will certainly use village hotels again but skip the breakfast.

We had a lovely stay the bedrooms are comfy and spacious but I have a lititle suggestion for shampoo and conditioner 2 in 1 at least as there's only shampoos in showers! The breakfast was ok but no mushrooms or hash browns my partner was gutted ! I don't think you should be charged extra to us facilities either but other than that I'd recommend it anyone.

Very high standard. I would choose this hotel over any premier inn. Very modern and clean, normal shower head as well as a rainfall type to choose from. No bath though. Breakfast was great, didnt have dinner there. Swimming pool and massages available within the hotel. Lots of parking with no height restrictions.

Smart hotel with well appointed rooms. Not much around so just as well the two on site restaurants are good. Beds are comfortable so I would have slept really well if it weren't for hearing everything going on in every adjoining room.

Best Christmas party I have ever been to. I rang earlier that day to ask about food options as I can't eat gluten products or cross contaminated foods. They provided me with the same meals as everyone else, minus stuffing balls and the desert which was replaced by a chocolate brownie. I couldn't have been happier as I got the same foods as everyone else and didn't feel left out of the meal. The bar was expensive though, but in fairness the party wasn't expensive. I didnt personally stay in the rooms but I did see them and they were lovely.

It is a very nice hotel. Bedrooms are very nice with comfy beds. Bathrooms are very nice with good size showers. However the restaurant is very pricy. It would also be nice if using the hotels swimming pool came within the price of your room booking.

The experience we had as a treat in December was sadly not what we expected !
After a little word via email to the right person ( the young lady on reception after enquiringly who I was to speak to , was able to direct me ) we were listened to !
This poor experience was made good , in fact exceptional !
We have faith in the village hotel bury !
Thank you to the staff on 19/01/18 in the restaurant who made our experience good x
Thank you to Tina Cunningham and young Polly and staff on that night !
Very good customer service !

I only visited the Grill as part of a funeral wake. It was nice and clean. The food was nice, and the staff were accommodating of my food allergies. Disabled access was disappointing for a new and modern building. The entrance is up an enormous flight of stairs, and the disabled lift is tucked around the side like they are ashamed of people seeing anyone with a disability enter the premises. That's probably fine if you are in a wheelchair, but there are many disabilities, and I struggle to walk a long distance, and the lifts position makes me have to walk even further than able-bodied people. The toilet also only really catered to wheelchair users as well, with low mirrors and low sinks only, and was a long way from the room we were in. There are so many types of disability that need to use specialist toilet facilities, not just wheelchair users. I feel other needs have not been thought of at all.

Very friendly staff and service in the village grill. We met up with family for Sunday carvary, and was surprised to find its basically all you can eat! £15 can get you as much food as you want. The place also has spa and gym and other facilities. As I've only had the food I cannot rate the other services but the atmosphere is very friendly, there's also free ice cream in the reception area. The downside is there's only 1 set of toilets, and you need a car or taxi to get to the place as it's in middle of industrial/business estate off the motorway/highway/dual carriageway whatever its called.

Stayed her for my uncles wedding, the reception was here as well. Rooms were lovely, everything we needed. The starbucks downstairs was lovely, whenever we wanted a coffee we could just pop down. The vending machines were very convenient as well, just pop down the hall. I didnt go in the gym myself but some family memebers did, they said it was great. The food wasnt the best though.

Good points good drinks choice available. Warm inside rooms and a walk in shower. Unfortunate points evening meals quite pricey, restaurant floor dirty, limited elevators to floors, stains on cushions in room and steep steps up to entrance.

Lovely spa area, with really nice staff. Pool area good but busy. Went for food in the bar it was a nice atmosphere but very expensive over £50 for 4 club sandwiches, fries 3 non alcoholic drinks and a glass of wine

Attended village hotel bury for a work Christmas party. Food was standard Xmas party stuff - soup to start, Xmas dinner, salted caramel cheesecake - nothing to write home about. Not good, but not awful. DJ played varied music suiting to all ages. We only stayed for the first three songs of the band but from what I could tell they were pretty good. Most importantly we all had a good time and enjoyed ourselves. Drinks could be a bit more reasonable it's like paying Manchester prices.

Sheer bliss a lovely spa day with light lunch and treatments from start to finish treated like a princess pool sauna steam room and choice of Jacuzzis amazing. Lunch was lovely and just met my needs light fresh and plenty full. Treatments WOW !! facial was amazing back massage fabulous then file and polish on my toes. I simply loved it only downside is the comfort area. Steam chair wooden loungers are a bug No surely the business can invest in a nice leather recliner or two. For the more senior guests. But it doesn't downgrade the day.

Attended a dine and disco for a work colleague's hen night. The food was ok and the service was very regimental but due to the large volume of people there (there were several other party's in the room too) they obviously want to serve and clear the food within a time frame, so that the disco can begin. Can't comment on the rooms, as I did not stay overnight.

Clean modern hotel. Not enough space to sit comfortably in the reception/lounge due to most of the area being taken up by business people holding meetings. Spa area at present being renovated so not quite as relaxful as expected

Nice break away from the grind!! Can't beat the room for a 10er deal, all you have to do is spend £50 in the restaurant, on food an drink, which ours, for 4 pints of Stella, the wife had 3 dbl archers an lemonade then we both had a 3 course meal with extra sides came to £48, then we both had a Starbucks coffee to take it over the £50 in the morning.
Exceptional value for money.

We had a meal here in the bar. It was light and open with different seating table areas. Also big screen sport at one end. We had the chickpea curry which we have had before. It was very good. Fragrant rice and a a small very light garlic naan bread.

Lovely stay. Clean tidy but very warm. Bar was a little loud and menu did not offer anything to people with a swallowing difficult; lasagne, pasta etc.
Would recommend and stay again.
