The expo was a fantastic night with amazing opportunities to meet fellow local Bury and Bolton businesses. Such technological know-how and expertise! I was proud to come from Bury and be a part of that self-made culture.

As you know it was an aspiration of mine to be considered the right type of business to feature on thebestofbury for many years and I was delighted in January 2014 to finally join the team.
Within weeks, you, Kathryn and Debi had given me so much valuable advice about how to best promote my business, but more importantly how to gain customer reviews from the many clients I have built up, one by one over the past 8 years.

I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the 'Making the Most out of Your Membership' session at MWB this morning. It was just what I needed after a busy, stressful week. It was full of great information (I made 3 pages of notes), I met some fantastic new people and heard about some local businesses I didn't even know existed before. I can't wait to visit 'Leckenby's' Tea Room, they seem really nice! I feel very privileged to be part of this community, thanks again! Simon

This is my first bestofbury exhibition and it's been great! It's been a lot busier than I expected and it's been full on for the whole time we've been here which is fantastic. It's great to be able to get the brand out there and see how much it's recognised. It's been good to get some new contacts as well and I'd definitely recommend it to anybody - I'll definitely be doing it again!

I've just spent the evening at the Big Bury Business Expo exhibiting as the HR doctor again. It's a brilliant event. Out of all the events where people come an exhibit around the north west Iv'e been to, it's by far and away the best! Lot's of people coming to talk to you, meeting old friends and new and there's an awful lot of business changes hands in a short space of time. I'd really recommend you come down to the next one, we have a ball!

Great to see so many exhibitors and visitors, you could sense a real 'Buzz' in the room - it was almost tangible.
As a visitor I was able to pick up 3 very useful leads that I will be following up on - so good result for us.
If the next one is any bigger."You're gonna need a bigger room"!! (Jaws film - "you're gonna need a bigger boat")

I Just wanted to drop you a line about the event I attended on Tuesday at Imperial House.
Even though we have been members for 7 years and we get regular updates/reminders
from the team, I really found the event useful and it was sort of a refresher for me to
remind me of all the benefits of being a member of the Best of Bury.
I came away with a long list of actions for myself 12 in total and by the end of the day I
had actioned two i.e placed two adverts in the Little Blue Book. I have put a reminder
in my calendar to send BOB something every other week no matter how small.
I would just like to add that the team do a great job and are very proactive.
