I have been a member of thebestofbury now for around four years. For the first 12 months or so I didn't really make the most of the tools and support that I had. After encouragement from the team (and a few pushes) I now engage more and appreciate that the more that you put in, the more you get out. The team help me get the best from my membership and push me to do so. This has made a huge difference to my business and I now get continual leads and referrals as a result of my membership. I now use thebestofbury to it's full potential and would recommend others to do the same.

Aspire joined the Best of Bury this year and as a result we have experienced a number of key benefits, the main one being an increase in turnover. Due to the nature of our business, as a training provider, we survive by meeting entrepreneurs and small businesses who would benefit from our service, the Best of Bury are experts at making these connections possible. Their networking events alone are worth the membership as they provide great opportunities for business owners in Bury to get together and help each other be successful, it really is a team effort. Since joining the best of bury, not only have we seen an increase in business but we have also benefitted from the knowledge of the team. Specialist areas such as Marketing, particularly Social Media and Advertising, have improved thanks to the advice given from the team. Another thing that works well for us are the review cards. We already collect feedback from our customers but find it difficult getting that feedback out to others, the Best of Bury helps solve this problem by putting all the comments on their website which is directly linked to our own.
In summary the Best of Bury has expanded our reach and enabled us to get our message out to more local businesses. The opportunities presented to us by regularly attending Networking and Social Events has been invaluable and will hopefully continue.

We know that with any membership organisation you get out of it what you put in but the great thing about the team at thebestofbury is that they continually remind you to send them material that they can use to help you to promote your business. Nothing is ever too much trouble and what we like is the consistency of excellent service regardless of who we deal with from thebestofbury’s office.
Put simply, we see thebestofbury as an extension to our marketing team. We are busy working on dozens of marketing strategies across the firm and in Bury our focus is on building relationships with both businesses and individuals in the town and the support we receive from thebestofbury has really helped us to do this.
We really enjoy their networking events and expos in addition to their member-only training events. All of our staff take it in turns to attend the monthly membership meetings and we always find something new to get involved with as a result. We also like that they bring new initiatives to us, introduce us to potential clients when opportunities arise and keep us updated on important events taking place in the borough.
We couldn’t recommend becoming a member of thebestofbury highly enough whether you are a sole trader or larger company. For AFG LAW, it’s a pleasure to be one of Bury’s best businesses!

I started my business a year ago and was mainly leafleting. Work was coming in but very slow. I wanted to work smart and get support and advice. A friend recommended me to thebestofbury and from the start, the advice and support was there along with advertising and marketing on my behalf for one small monthly fee.

I can honestly say that we are blown away with the service we have received from the best of bury. Myself & Aspire have benefited greatly from our relationship so far. Just a quickish note to reflect on what was an excellent evening last Thursday at the Village Hotel for the Bury Expo.
As a member of BBG I manned our stand for part of the evening. The response was very encouraging and from the evening we received lots of requests to visit the group.
The venue is impressive and therefore i am sure that first time visitors gained a good impression.
The volume of people attending created a 'busy feel ' to the evening without being overcrowded.
The refreshments were excellent and the open bar was too tempting (my problem and nobody else's.)
The organisation was spot on.
All in all, a very useful and enjoyable evening.

“An extremely busy and successful night at the Best Of Bury Expo. After attending and exhibiting at the last 4 Expos, last night was most definitely the busiest I have ever seen it, not only was the number of companies exhibiting at its highest the attendance was phenomenal and a real credit to the team at the Best Of for organising such a well attended event.
There was a real diverse mix of businesses that really brought different benefits to one another, to share ideas with like minded individuals, and to enable to promote their own business in an open and relaxed environment.
Look forward to another successful Expo this September!
