Run For All is a Not for Profit organisation which is part of the lasting legacy of the late amateur athlete and fundraiser Jane Tomlinson CBE. From Fun Runs to Marathons, every year tens of thousands of people take part in a variety of events– running for charity, for a personal challenge or just for fun.

A fun and friendly run, the Bury 10K provides all the motivation you need to pull on those trainers and
take on a challenge.
The event is staged in partnership with the Bury-based I Will If You Will (IWIYW) fitness movement,
which is delivered by Bury Council with Lottery funds from Sport England.
Starting and finishing close to The Rock, the course is suitable for all ages and abilities from
beginners just starting out on their fitness journey to experienced fast runners looking for a personal
best.

Who They Are

Run For All is part of the lasting legacy of the late amateur athlete and fundraiser Jane Tomlinson
CBE. Jane made headlines around the world by taking part in a series of incredible endurance
events, despite being diagnosed with an incurable cancer.
A power house mum-of-three, she defied her diagnosis and completed challenge after gruelling
challenge, participating in everything from marathons and triathlons to ironman and contests that saw
her cycle across Europe.

As her health failed further, Jane continued her dream by starting Run For All in her home town of
Leeds. What began as one 10K run, has now grown to a nationwide Not For Profit organisation that
fundraises for a huge range of national and local charities.

What they do

In partnership with Bury Hospice, The Jane Tomlinson Appeal and the Asda Foundation, the Bury
10K in 2019 will see runners of all ages and abilities come together to run for fun, excitement, a
challenge or a personal best.
The organisation can arrange everything from a mini tots run and family fun run to marathons and
Corporate challenges. All whilst raising funds for worthy causes.
You can challenge yourself to a new goal, or get a team together and enjoy the day with friends,
family or co-workers.

Although they have grown significantly since that first 10K run back in 2007, they maintain the same
philosophy that grounded them from day one – High quality, great fun events for absolutely all
abilities.

The Best of Bury are proud to be sponsors of this year's Bury 10k and we look forward to seeing you
all on the day!
