Came for afternoon tea with for a family members birthday and what a lovely experience we had….staff very friendly, nice atmosphere, lovely and clean, afternoon tea was amazing!

The hotel was nice, nice inside decor, nice bright and discus restaurant. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We received extra read bags and milk upon request. House keeping changed our towels after one night and gave us additional toiletries too which was good. I mentioned to reception on check out that my bed wasn’t very comfortable and had a sink in feeling possibly the springs have gone. They said maintenance would look at it today. I’d prefer breakfast to have been buffet but the food was lovely and good quality.

A very comfortable stay and easy driving distance to relatives. Traffic noise a little intrusive but quickly cured by shutting the windows!! In a heatwave the hotel has a really cool atmosphere.

First time at this hotel and although it was out of town there was a bus stop right outside of hotel which went into Bury. Breakfast was in restaurant area and it was a good full English.It would have been good to have a fan or air conditioning in the room as it was very warm but otherwise room was very comfortable. More storage for clothes would have been nice or more hangers available. Bar area very nice but drinks a little expensive.

we visited the restaurant yesterday as a family group 6adults 2children only us and one other table with 2 adults the food was great quality and reasonable price my only criticism it wasn’t hot enough james who looked after was excellent will return

Reasonably comfortable room with good food
I had the Tiger prawns to start - not great flavour tbh, very forgettable
Sea Bass for main - very nice and well cooked. Worth having!!

We spent a few days here & we couldn’t fault it. Staff are friendly, helpful & attentive. Food was excellent & generous. Room at the rear was nice & quiet, clean & tidy. Breakfast was freshly cooked & with a nice variety of choices. Plates were always hot & food was served promptly. Restaurant is comfy & tastefully decorated. Will definitely be back!

Went to a friend's wedding yesterday at the red hall hotel,and was most impressed.the hotel is lovely,the room was very nice ,the food was delicious,the staff were very friendly, nothing was too much,would highly recommend for a wedding,or a night away .

We booked our wedding with only 5 weeks to arrange it and nothing was too much trouble for Sharon and her staff. From the point of viewing the venue right up to the actual wedding everything was just perfect. We had 100 daytime guests and 140 evening guests and no-one had a bad word to say about anything. If we wanted to change anything or confirm anything someone was always only an email or phone call away and we always received confirmation of any changes we made - we weren’t rushed into anything and never felt pressured into doing anything we didn’t want to. The room was set out perfectly for our ceremony and the turn around of the room for our wedding breakfast and again for our evening reception went smoothly. Damo the event organiser was amazing throughout the whole day - all in all I don’t think they could have done anything more than what they did do to make our day any better. I’ve just recently hosted a baby shower at the stunning Melange Restaurant. The restaurant is truly beautiful and the staff were so helpful leading up to and throughout the day. We had the afternoon tea and it was lovely and reasonably priced. I would 100% recommend this space if you are looking for a small function or if you just fancy trying the restaurant menu.. you won’t leave disappointed! Thank you to the function team at the red hall as well as the restaurant staff that served us on the day.. we had a gorgeous time! We will definitely be returning! 👶🏻🤍🫧

Had our 4oth wedding anniversary and vow renewal here. Sharon Damo and the team were amazing the whole day went perfect . The rooms perfect . Food was amazing . Nothing to much trouble. Fun perfect for a stay or a celebration. Would highly recommend .

Very helpful and professional reception and restaurant staff. Room was disappointing as heating did not work so had a blow heater in the room, shower leaked and radiator and door in bathroom quite dirty grime.

Sunday dinner with Mediterranean vegetables peppers and courgettes is just no ! 2 thin slices of beef and no mash or extra gravy offered
Desert no cheese and biscuits. Deserts on offer boring.
This was simply exploiting Mother's Day!

Our bed wasn’t very comfortable or pillows but others we stayed with said theirs was fine, so just unlucky for us. We stayed for a wedding and service was fantastic. Good food and drinks x
