Scott and Mark arrived on time to discuss the project and they provided a variety of ideas to transform our garden. They provided a quote quickly and amended it when we changed our minds about one aspect of the work. They set to work promptly on the agreed date, kept us up to date with each stage of the work and tidied up at the end of each day. Our garden was sloped and unusable with a small lawn but Scott and Mark have created a larger flat lawn which we can and have enjoyed with the children. It was not an easy job but Scott and Mark completed the work at a very competitive price. I would definitely recommend them!

Writing this review on behalf of my mum as she has not mastered the internet yet! Scott and Mark came with a recommendation from my Aunty who had some work done in her back garden with flagging. So decided to get a quote and a redesign for the back garden after a recent extension. Turned up when promised to give a quote and also turned up on time when asked to start the work. Would not hesitate to recommend Scott and Mark to others, did a great job, workmanship and punctually exceeded expectations and all with a competitive price.

These Gentlemen are Professionals. The best we have ever had. On day three, we gave them the key to the house so they did not disturb us. Our trust and faith were well rewarded with excellent work minimum fuss. Little touches, like putting the house number on the new door and keeping us up to date with times etc. of any Contractors kept us more than happy. We are having them back and recommend them to friends, family and anyone reading this. You will not regret employing these Chaps.

Scott from Horizon Developments recently did some work for me putting in a drainage channel around my house. I asked for advice in the first place and found him to be very knowledgeable and helpful. The work was done exceptionally well and they were efficient, very tidy, andcompletely trustworthy. I wouldn't hesitate to ask Horizon Developments to do any further work I might need, and would happily and confidently recommend them.

We recently had Horizon Developments carry out further work at our home. The fascia board from the house,garage & dormer were getting tired. Scott and Mark gave us a quotation to scaffold the perimeter of the property, removing all the existing fascias from the house, garage and dormer and replacing with UPVC material. They removed all the old materials from the site. In sometimes, inclement weather, Scott and Mark worked hard and did an excellent job, we will certainly use them again.

We found out about Horizon through the BestofBury website and arranged for Scott & Mark to build a porch at the front of our property. The work was done to a very high standard and the finished build was exactly as we had envisaged at the start of the process. Scott and Mark are very experienced in what they do, extremely tidy and the work was completed on time and to cost. They were also helpful in providing good advice throughout the build and went the extra mile to ensure that we were satisfied at all stages. Having recently had a second child and still living in the house myself and husband bought 10 years ago we decided to convert our 3-bed semi into a 4-bed semi. Enter Mark and Scott of Horizon Developments. The 2 brothers came and looked at the job and gave us a full written quote before booking us in to undertake the work. The quote itself was excellent; breaking down the phases of the work and the payment stages so we knew before work began how much the job would cost us and at what stage in the build we would need to pay for the work so far completed. The job was completed within the time guidance Scott gave us and any costs which differed from the quote (approx £500 extra in total) were discussed and agreed before the extra work was undertaken. What most impressed me was the logical, systematic and tidy approach they took. Everyone dreads the upheaval and disruption that building works in the family home will inevitably cause and with 2 young children and the fact the extension required the knocking through via our family bathroom, we were expecting the worse but I can honestly say the approach with which Horizon undertook the project meant that for the most part we hardly knew they were there. We have been left with a beautiful new extension and would certainly recommend Horizon.

We cam across Horizon through this web site and have not been disappointed. Scott & Mark did 3 jobs for us. They laid new drains below our block paving and setts; they built a new path and patio; and laid foundations for a summer house and tool shed. In all 3 cases the end result was exactly as we had wanted it. They are clearly very experienced in what they do. They were very tidy, the work was completed on time and to cost. They were also helpful in providing good advice and ideas on how the finished result could look. We would have no hesitation in recommending Horizon or in using them again in the future. Mark and Scott carried out the building of a retaining wall in rustic brick to the front of our house.
They were thoroughly professional and friendly throughout the whole time they were at our property.
Mark and Scott gave us a price using different types of brick and we managed to secure bricks which matched those used to build the house.Mark gave us a date when they could carry out the work and duly arrived as arranged and didn't leave the job until it was finished. We would certainly recommend Horizon Developments to anyone considering building work in the future.

WE have in the past had a kitchen ans dining room extension with pitched roof including patio doors built by Mark and Scott additionally a stone patio was laid. they have just altered our porch,fitted a new composite door and frame. as in the past Excellent work, very clean and tidy, on time and at agreed price. Kean and I will not use any other Builders since doing our extension, our neighbors have had them do several jobs. Scott and Mark from Horizon Developments converted our kitchen extension from a flat roof to a pitched roof with Velux windows. They also built a shower room within our garage. They completed all the work in good time and were no bother to have around. All the work was completed to a very good standard and we would certainly use them again. We would also recommend them to other people considering having alterations, renovations or building work carried out.

Having had problems with builders in the past, I was relieved when brothers Mark and Scott from Horizon Developments completed my porch renovation on time and more importantly at the agreed price. They had the job done without any fuss and cleaned away all the mess. If your looking for a reliable, honest and competent building business, look no further. I needed some structural work in my kitchen, new windows and doors and re-designing walls and fire places. Scott and Mark were friendly, reliable and most of all efficient and tidy.
All jobs were done to a high specification and I was thrilled with them.
I will be using Horizon again in the summer to complete a gable end render at my property too.
