I have learnt not to use negative comments on children (e.g. easy, wrong). This really helps me especially because I work with children with special needs. I have also learnt a lot of encouraging comments.

Gemma & Liz delivered an exciting and enjoyable 6 week Mindset Motivation intervention for our Year 3 children. In these engaging sessions children have really developed their confidence through lots of hands on activities and have had lots of fun whilst learning about themselves. Several children have said that it is the best thing they've done in school. Thanks very much Gemma & Liz and we'll see you again in July.

Currently nearing the completion of the 'Developing an Effective Leadership Mindset' course with Grow Your Mindset. I have really enjoyed our sessions - Gemma and Liz always bring great enthusiasm, and they keep the entire group engaged. I have found the material extremely insightful - since starting the course I have found myself reflecting increasingly often on how my behaviours and language can influence others in my role as a leader. I also find I am much more aware of my teams specific learning and development needs, along with the best approaches to support them.

Excellent growth mindset CPD sessions delivered by Gemma and Jenny at our school. Engaging delivery ensured full participation from all staff and the feedback has been highly complimentary. Over the last six weeks we have been lucky enough to work with Liz during our Grow Your Mindset workshops. Each session was invaluable to the children and the adults working in year six and I would highly recommend these sessions to other schools. What particularly impressed me was the relationship that Liz developed with the children. They all felt valued in terms of their contributions and were thoroughly engaged. The tasks set within each lesson were personalised to my class and it has been such a wonderful tool to use in our day to day learning.

I contacted Grow Your Mindset to help my daughter who was very hard on herself and had a very strong fear of making mistakes. Gemma has been doing 1-2-1 sessions with my daughter and we are seeing fantastic improvements in my daughters mindset and approach to challenging situations. My daughter loves every session and comes away from the session absolutely buzzing and full of confidence. I am so glad that I had been recommended to contact Grow your Mindset.

As a post-pandemic focus, we have prioritised the growth mindest approach to our school. Although staff had been trained some time ago, we also had a number of new staff since the initial training.
Gemma and Liz provided excellent training for the staff. In days of remote training, this can often be very difficult, but they have managed to still be personable and energetic despite the drawbacks of Zoom/ Teams.
Content was accessible for all, and drew out a lot of honesty and self-reflection from the staff. Sometimes getting staff to be positive during training sessions can be challenging (especially the twilight sessions!), but there was never an issue due to the content and delivery. It is quite a skill to get teachers to move out of their comfort zones when leading training from a screen!
We will continue to use the Growing Your Mindset approach, and we know that the training has helped get the best from us and ultimately the pupils. Thank you, Gemma and Liz!

I've been on a course run by the Grow Your Mindset team and it was superb - interesting, challenging and really moved me on personally and professionally. I have also used them to run training days with my staff in two schools I've worked in and projects with the children in school - all impacting positively on attitudes and behaviour for learning. They're coming in again this year to school and I can't wait for a new class of children to experience the fun, challenge and excitement of a GyM project!

We have worked with Liz and Gemma at St Gregory's for the past 3 years. This has involved a variety of activities including staff training, parent workshops, assemblies, whole class and small group work, coaching for staff and team teaching. This has had a significant impact on both behaviour for learning and standards across the school as pupils self belief, motivation and resilience has grown. We continue to work with Liz and Gemma on our Growth Mindset journey and would highly recommend GyM to anyone.
