Aspire Education Academy Ltd (Aspire) offer the opportunity for growing businesses to take on a new apprentice.  Aspire will provide assistance in the recruitment of the perfect person for your business, nurture their skills and mould that person into the ideal employee to help your business build for the future.

This local training provider also offer training for current employees. With the help of Aspire, you will empower them to learn new skills and knowledge, which will improve your business. Training also helps increase the morale of your workforce. It shows that you care; not only about the future of the organisation, but also the future of the individuals that work for you.

Qualifications require just a 10% contribution in costs so as an example a training qualification of £2,500 would cost you just £250.  This can be split over a number of months.

The training and learning programmes are flexible and designed around the learners’ and employers’ needs. Aspire is highly praised by external associations such as Matrix; citing learner loyalty, having a positive impact on learners’ lives, empowering learners’, as well as Co-operative Partnership’s working and sharing of best practice.

Schools are a specialist are of expertise and Aspire deliver a range of training encompassing this.  Training includes level 3 teaching assistants qualifications as well as business admin, team building and management up to level 5.

Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are providing individuals with the skills needed for employment in a workplace environment.  

As part of an apprenticeship, Aspire offer continuous guidance and support by hosting learner training sessions once a month and a workplace visit every two weeks.

An apprentice will usually work around 30 hours per week but it is dependent upon the course/training programme and the needs of the employer. Learners will also receive a wage from an apprenticeship.

Apprenticeships from Aspire are open to anyone over the age of 16, as long as they have lived in the UK for 3+ years, are employed for 30+ hours a week and are earning a minimum of £3.50 per hour. Minimum wage is applied in year two. Apprentices must not hold any qualification higher than NVQ Level 4, however, training can now be offered to those at director level.

The current apprenticeships available are:

  • Customer service practitioner
  • Business administration
  • Management 
  • Activity Leadership 
  • Teaching and learning P.E
  • Management level 3

Businesses could benefit financially from hiring an apprentice.  A business which employs an apprentice between 16-18 years old will qualify for £1,000 of funding.

Hiring an apprentice can also increase your business's net earnings as it will reduce recruitment and overall training costs. This means that training an apprentice is usually much more cost effective than hiring skilled staff.
