We love spending time at The British Queen in Locksbottom - whether just for a few drinks or a delicious meal, it's always a pleasurable experience.

But it's probably fair to say that summer time is when the pub comes into its own - stunning garden where you can enjoy the sunshine, indulge in the tasty menu and sip on a cool, refreshing tipple... bliss!

This July The British Queen also has a fantastic set menu that will guarantee to make your visit a great value one. With 2 courses for £9.95, three courses for £12.45 all day Monday to Saturday until 6:30pm, it's the ideal opportunity to dine at the pub.... I already know what I'd be ordering - the Mediterranean chickpea & tomato salad with smoked aubergine followed by summer vegetable risotto is right up my street!

And what's even better is that it's now open for breakfast at the weekends! With firm favourites like egga benedict or even omelettes on the menu, there's something for everyone.
