After positive community feedback on what was an exceptional and record-breaking year, Brighton Pride is delighted to announce the date for Pride weekend 2016 : Friday 5th – Sunday 7th August 2016.
Brighton Pride will continue to celebrate with the hugely successful Carnival Of Diversitythat perfectly reflects the diversity in our City.
Our2016 campaigning theme is Uniting Nations, reflecting the UK’s favourite Pride festival’s on-going commitment to campaigning for global LGBT+ rights.
2015 was a record fundraising year with £100,000raised for community good causes and 200,000 people enjoying the biggest community parade to date.
“Pride has evolved over the years with more communities coming together to celebrate every aspect of our city, regardless of sexuality, race, gender, age or ability. It’s important not to go back to theme’s that trivialise the important message behind the Pride Celebration and to highlight the lives and struggles of LGBT+ people across the world as we strive for equality for all”
Carnival Of Diversity will now remain as the main Parade theme, with Uniting Nations being the 2016 campaigning theme reflecting the wonderful diversity global communities with all the colour and vibrancy of Carnival.
It is a chance to celebrate the uniqueness of Brighton & Hoveand the diversity and inclusivity of Pride in our City.

Pride Dog Show :
Join us as we celebrate our four-legged best friends with a day of fun and barking frolics, as dogs and dog lovers come together and shine with Pride.
Pride Diversity Game:
The Pride Diversity Games was a citywide celebration of hopping, skipping and jumping together in a variety of inclusive and fun sporting events.
The campsite has proved a popular part of Brighton Pride and made the event more financially accessible.
