‘The Lives and Travels of the Daring, Different and Dangerous’
This October, TEDx offers the people of Brighton and Hove another chance to revive their daily 9-5 through a day of stories and inspiration from over 20 free spirits, adventurers, thinkers, philanthropists and intellectuals.
‘The Lives and Travels of the Daring, Different and Dangerous’ features talks from, and interaction with, among others: Holly Budge – explorer, adventurer, conservationist and storyteller; Alex Ntung – refugee, author and migration specialist; Sophie Cook – writer, presenter, photographer and LGBT campaigner; Alex Stephany – social entrepreneur for homelessness causes; Brett Novak – film maker, skateboarder and world traveller; Sophy Ridge - Sky News broadcaster and author; and Azeem Amir – footballer, disability ambassador and first blind person to complete Tough Mudder.
During this TEDx you will see both video and live TEDTalks and have the chance to discusss and connect with like-minded individuals across Brighton and Hove. TEDx events are self-organized local events that are created under the general guidance of the world-famous TED Conference.
