Brighton Digital Festival is a grassroots festival with events organised mainly by members of the digital and arts communities for the participation of the wider community in Brighton and Hove.

The largest digital culture festival in the UK returns for its 8th year, with VR instalments from Laurie Anderson, work from BAFTA-winner Dan Hett, a preview exhibition of the globally renowned Lumen Prize for Digital Art and the return of The Messy Edge conference.
Taking place over four weeks in different venues across the city, the festival offers new and exciting insights into the future through its exploration of digital culture, while celebrating Brighton & Hove’s creativity and talent.
2018’s events range from: thought-provoking talks from creators, artists and activists; exhibitions and performances exploring the latest digital technology; digital art and immersive installations - meaning there’s something for everyone.
