One of The Business Club's active members 'SolutionsForce' reports a significant upturn in the number of businesses looking for funds for growth rather than plugging cash flow problems. Most of the high street banks are waking up to the need for relationship managers who understand owner-managed businesses, and are actively competing to lure those with the best growth potential. In addition, new business angels groups are forming to invest in businesses with robust operating models, well defined markets, valued USPs and strong leadership. Rather than the gloom the year started with, it looks like 2009 will end with champagne corks popping for their clients!
