during my quest of promoting remarkable Businesses to everyone in our borough of Brent and helping communities, I often hear some mention the issue of Local Crime and anti-social behaviour.

Well, now you have the chance to learn more about action taking place in our  area to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour and to make our communities safer.

"Not in My Neighbourhood Week" will be running from Monday 2 - Friday 6 November 2009 would be a great opportunity for you to learn what our local agencies, police forces and partners do towards making our borough safer.

The week's activities will be run from one of London's iconic Routemaster buses, travelling around the borough to host a packed schedule of crime-fighting roadshows.

Visitors will receive free gifts including security marking and the 'purse string' - the latest gadget from Brent Community Safety Partnership designed to hinder pickpockets.

Brent Council StreetCare surgery will also be on board to deal with problem areas, as well as police and council community safety officers offering expert crime prevention advice.

Hop aboard the bus at The Croft, near Iceland on Harlesden High Road on Monday 2 November 2009 from 10am-4pm.
