Gold Standard Training Provider Accreditation
The Training Surgery is delighted to announce it has been awarded the coveted Gold Standard Training Provider Accreditation from the Institute of IT Training.
Shelley Fishel, Director of The Training Surgery confirms that getting the Gold Standard Accreditation (GSA) involved a complete commitment from her team as well as herself, she adds - 'it’s part and parcel of our company ethos to continually improve and expand our offering. However, keeping pace with different training methods and presentation as well as the ever-faster turning world of technology, at the same time as knowing we were under inspection, added a certain amount of tension to the mix!’
High Quality and High Standard
The delivery of high quality training is essential, but that’s only one aspect of what The Training Surgery does. Equally high on their list is establishing exactly what is needed by a company. No matter how brilliant the training, Shelley doesn’t consider it successful if it hasn’t precisely addressed and met the specific needs of individuals. Shelley maintains, investment made by the company in training, should always have a demonstrable result not only in the bottom line, but in the growth of staff confidence. Staff members, at ease with systems they are using will be optimising their time and minimising their stress. They will be more proactive and productive and last but certainly not least, far happier in their job. As Shelley puts it ‘A Win, Win situation!’
Particularly relevant to staff confidence are increasingly popular regular surgeries where Shelley or one of her team makes periodic visits to a company so staff members know if they come across an issue they can’t resolve or need some input, help is at hand.
The ITT comments ‘The accreditation process includes the assessment of these companies against highly defined criteria and not everyone makes the grade.’
