Just ventured out to the Post-Christmas (didn't they used to be in January?) Sales at Meadowhall. Am I the only one to be bemused by the so-called Sale at one of the biggest named stores? I was there pre Xmas, and spotted several items I would like to buy, but decided to wait and see if I could get them at sale prices. Where are they? The stock has been replaced by the biggest load of trash I have seen, stuff that I doubt was even at their outlet stores, or sold in the UK at all.
I cannot imagine why people queue for this junk, and don't understand how this chain of stores gets away with it.
When I go sale shopping I want the same goods at discounted prices. That's when I feel I have a bargain - not when the shop is filled with inferior quality goods just to get rid of cheap tat.
We should boycot shops that do this - I won't be going there again during the sales.
