Pledge 10,000's FAQ's

The Bulls Pledge 10,000 has got everyone talking! But what's it all about?! To help, we have answered some of the most frequently asked questions about this radical initiative.

So, how does it work? We need 10,000 pledges of £60 or more to buy a membership for 2011. If we reach this target;

  • Adult Terrace tickets will be £60 & Tetley's Main Stand tickets will be £99.
  • Junior Terrace tickets are £45.
  • Students and Concession Terrace tickets are £60 and Tetley's Main Stand tickets will be £90.
  • Family Terrace Ticket (2 adults, 1 child) will be £150 or for 2 adults, 2 children £190.
  • AND REMEMBER, ALL BULLS MEMBERS RECEIVE THE USUAL GREAT BENEFITS SUCH AS:
    • A personal rewards programme
    • 50% off Magic Weekend Tickets
    • 500 points on your Teamcard to spend in the Bulls Megastore which will include the NEW 2011 replica shirt.

All pledges of £60 and over count towards our 10,000 target, with both Adult pledges as part of our Family packages counted as 2 pledges.

The Deadlines The deadline to pledge is Monday 4th October at 12:00 noon. After this date, a representative from the Bulls will contact you to confirm the pricing structure for the 2011 season and confirm how to pay for your membership. The deadline to pay is 12th November 2010.

What happens if we don't get 10,000 people to pledge? If in the unlikely event that we are unable to reach our 10,000 pledge target, ticket prices will increase incrementally based on the number of people who have pledged i.e. if 8,000 people pledge, an adult terrace ticket will cost £75. This is still a massive saving on the cost of membership from 2010.

Can I pledge more than once? Fans can pledge for multiples of tickets for friends and family but only those pledges of £60 or more will count towards our target total. If you would like to add an additional pledge at a later date this can be done on the same basis as explained in the "How can I pledge?" section. Just remember, a pledge is ultimately a contractual obligation to purchase.

What happens if non-supporters pledge to boost numbers in an attempt to discredit the scheme? We have in place a complex system which will weed out any fraudulent pledges.

How can I help the Bulls get to 10,000 pledges? We are always grateful that our supporters are looking for ways to support us and volunteer their time so we have come up with a few suggestions of how you can help us:

  • PLEDGE YOURSELF! If all our current members renew using the pledge system, we will already be well over half way to reaching our target.
  • GET FRIENDS, FAMILY, WORK COLLEAGUES OR ACQUAINTANCES TO PLEDGE If all our current members managed to persuade just one person who does not have a2010 membership to pledge for 2011 and follow through with their purchase, we will generously exceed our target.
  • PICK UP A CAR STICKER AND SPREAD THE WORD AS YOU DRIVE
  • DOWNLOAD THE PDF POSTER FROM THE WEBSITE AND PROMOTE THE PLEDGE
  • BECOME A PLEDGE AMBASSADOR AT YOUR PLACE OF WORK

If you work with 40 or more people, you could become a pledge ambassador. This would entail you promoting the pledge in the staff areas of the business you work in and you could even have your own pledge box! We would provide all promotional materials and if we reach our target, we will provide all Pledge ambassadors with a very special thank you gift.

To register your interest, please email john.downes@bradfordbulls.co.uk

Many people have offered their services to distribute leaflets in the area in which they live or work. Whilst we really appreciate the support offered, we have already enlisted the services of a professional distribution company as we feel this would be the most appropriate way to co-ordinate such a mammoth task to get the required return.

We will also be looking for volunteers to help us promote the pledge at numerous promotional events which will be held across the city and peripheral areas. To register your interest, please email sarah.williams@bradfordbulls.co.uk

The most powerful marketing tool for any campaign is word of mouth and this is the most important way our supporters can help us reach our target so SPREAD THE PLEDGE!

How can I keep updated with how many people have pledged? There are 2 pledge-o-meters on display: one on Rooley Avenue outside the Grattan Stadium and the other on Tong Street outside our Training Facility at Tong School.

There is also a pledge counter on the Bulls website which will be updated at regular intervals. The Telegraph & Argus will also be running a series of updates on the number of pledges received.

At our promotional events around the city, we will also be keeping you updated.

Can I purchase more tickets at the same price after the pledge deadline has passed? Yes. Between Monday 4th October and Friday 12th November, you can purchase as many tickets as you require at the released pricing structure.

This pricing structure will only change after Friday 12th November when membership will increase by 50%.

However, we need to get in as many pledges as possible NOW to ensure you get the best price.

I am currently a Bradford Bulls member and would like to renew my seat for 2011. How can I do this? All current member's seats will be reserved until Friday 18th October. Payment for these seats MUST be made before this date. After this time, they will be released for general sale.

This all sounds like a fantastic offer! How can I pledge? Pledging is simple:

  • Call the ticket office on 08448 711 490
  • Fill in a pledge form and post it in one of our pledge boxes at the Grattan Stadium
  • Text the word "PLEDGE" to 60777
  • Fill in an online form at www.bradfordbulls.co.uk
