More 2015 Air Festival line up details announced

The Hawk T2 Role Demo team will be appearing at the event for the first time. The Hawk T2 Role Demo team is the public face of Number 4 Flying Training School (4FTS) based at RAF Valley on Anglesey and their full time mission is to train the Royal Air Force and Royal Navy combat pilots of the future. The Hawk T2 Role Demo exists to demonstrate the training conducted at RAF Valley, the professional excellence of the RAF and promote recruitment to the RAF.

Also new for 2015 is the Norwegian Air Force Historical Squadron MiG and returning after a 5 year absence are the Matadors, who have recently set new records by flying through a hangar at 185mph!

And back again are French aerobatic team Patrouille Reva, last seen at the air festival in 2013.

Other Air Festival favourites set to return include the Red Arrows who will appear on all four days, the exceptionally noisy Typhoon and returning for her final appearance the Avro Vulcan.

The Tutor training plane, the Chinook helicopter, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, the Tigers Parachute Team, SallyB, Twister Duo, The Blades and Spitfire are also on the line up.

Night Air returns with dusk displays from Red Devils, O’Briens Flying Circus with Fire Flies, and a solo Spitfire. The Royal Navy Beat Retreat will be performing a sunset ceremony and the Royal Marines will be performing unarmed combat displays.
