Jennings Motor Group submitted an FOI request to all 45 police forces in the UK, asking for the number of drink driving incidents between July 2015 and February 2016, with some surprising results; of 142 road accidents (28 were serious or fatal) recorded and a total of 269 people (220 male and 49 female) arrested for drink driving offences in December.Clearly, there is a lot of work to be done to combat this serious issue in the region.
