Calling all young creatives! Story Inventors is a fun-filled, imaginative workshop where 6–8-year-olds can dive into the world of storytelling through drama and creative play. Hosted at the Octagon Theatre, this exciting session invites children to invent their own stories, create characters, and build confidence in a supportive, playful environment.
Over the course of three magical hours, participants will go on an imaginative adventure, working together to develop their storytelling and performance skills. At the end of the session, parents and carers are invited back for a short sharing performance, where the children showcase their creations and what they've been working on.
Children should bring a packed lunch, as there will be a break during the session. If bringing lunch is a barrier to attending, families are encouraged to contact participation@octagonbolton.co.uk for support.
