Gym is okay, choice of machine is good. The only thing is the temperature- downstairs is so cold that I got ill twice within one month. My other couple of friends too. It’s cold outside and they blast the air-con on full speed, that all the dust from the ceiling fall down.

Needs more box jump boxes, the set that they have isn't in the best condition, and it's difficult to get if the gym is busy as many people use them for hip thrusts as well. Other than that, gym is decent.

I am writing this review to counter all the negative reviews some unhappy people have been writing about The Gym. I have been a member for year and a half and I'll be staying a member for the rest of my life.
This gym; best value for money, cleaner on site most of the time, people use the facilities irresponsibly and then complain, staff is there most of the time but they can't be there for you at 2 am.
Equipment is available in adequate numbers but sometimes it's ok to wait and share. I have seen people abusing the entry system by getting in twos. I check the capacity before I go. Ok, I have the luxury of flexibility but I can understand that some people don't have this but I have been there at the busiest times, still no problem.
So, guys, just chill and enjoy your workouts as much as you can because it may not be perfect but it is the best at the moment.

Gymgroup Hagley Road is such a great gym. Shame about the staff turnover tho, recently the gym has lacked good classes due to PT moving on to other Gymgroup sites. However, luke. Lukas and gibbs and Emma T remain and their classes are AMAZING . Please get some more amazing PT that can do PM classes. Overall a fab, friendly gym with the best staff.

I absolutely love it in The gym group, especially the group classes, the instructors are knowledgeable, classes are easy to book online via app and the classes are not too full and available at various time of the day.Nicole Cook is the best coach & awesome stretches after group session . Jessica, Luke Daly and Michael are also lovely and experienced

Hi the gym is fantastic just what I was looking for there are no show off every one is the same and as for clothes you come in what you are comfortable in it's not a show or cat walk of fashion just down to earth work out. All there work out gear is brand new and very clean. Great service and staff are very helpful and friendly

The Gym group Bolton is the best and played a huge part in recovery post long term treatment. I love the classes and their variety. The gym is clean with abundance of equipment and give more than money’s worth. The PTs are amazing, friendly and give individual attention as needed/ required. The special names to mention are Nicole, Sam, Jules, Ayesha, Lee and Josh. Thank you for your good work. I highly recommend this gym.

Good place, just get really busy at times, so pick when you go accordingly! 24 hour, not many people have gym etiquette here tho it seems, people leave stuff all over

Every single staff member at that gym is an absolute pleasure to be around. This team consistently have smiles on their faces and always make the effort to say hello and have a conversation with me. I spend a very large amount of time training at The Gym Group Bolton and I call the team my second family.
The team keep the gym absolutely spotless and they go above and beyond every day to keep it that way.
I have to give a special thank you to Sam (manager). She is an absolutely amazing woman, very funny, sociable and always there if I have a problem or need a special piece of equipment. You can see that she always works very hard whether that be cleaning the gym, speaking to members or creating online content, either way, she puts a huge smile on my face.
Jules, Mike, Lee, Nicole, Luke, Ayesha and Jess are all great too! Keep up the good work, you’re a great team and it shows, the gym is a good place to be and I will miss training there a lot!!

An amazing gym which tailors for all needs, abilities and capabilities. A very warm atmosphere is maintained I fully recommend joining this gym. The classes are run by very supportive people who push tou according to your ability.

Great gym, very clean and always having a refresh. The best gym class is Legs, Bums and Tums class with Nicole. Nicole is very friendly and makes sure you get the most out of the class!

The classes are really accessible and fit for any ability. The trainers are friendly and approachable. I book on to Hyrox with Nicole every week because she makes the class challenging, pushing you to improve, while also encouraging you along the way - she's amazing ❤️

It’s been a wonderful 4 month experience with exciting and variety of classes to help build up confidence and consistency I enjoy the HYROX and legs bums and tummy session with Nicole as it’s very engaging and she is a gem and a very friendly instructor to workout with
