Plenty of equipment, friendly and helpful staff. Very Covid secure - constant cleaning by staff, personal trainers and members themselves. All equipment appropriately distanced and / or closed off in order to maintain distancing.
Personal trainer, Erika, is good. Listens to what my aims are. Friendly but stern and definitely a motivator. Had 5 sessions - looking forward to more.

Cool gym. Loads of different equipment. Good anti Covid measures so it feels kinda safe. They got a machine that measures the % of muscle, fat and hydration of your body and that's some next gen stuff cause I never seen nothing like this before. To the woman that climbed like 42069 flights of stairs while reading, who hurt you? Overall would recommend.

A good gym, solid equipment but it was previously 24 hours before the pandemic. Surely it makes sense to keep it 24 hours now and spread the amount of people in the gym at one time?!

The first day when I joined “The Gym” it was amazing experience. The gym was clean and tidy and the environment was really good and it still is. The staff is amazing and doing a great job by sanitising the machines every time when someone use it.
The people are amazing, they just do their workout and leave, which is really good thing in these crucial times of Covid-19.
I loved “The Gym” and will definitely recommend to everyone!

It’s a good gym for the price. It can get very busy but the staff have tried their best to keep social distancing and hygiene measures in place. There is a variety of equipment however staff can not always be seen around. I would to see more instructions near the weights section for people who are new to using them.

Every easy to join , most of the staff is very helpful only one was abit upsetting and was almost intolerant on sundy as the gyme was closing at 8pm and he was telling everyone to go out in very harsh tone.

It was amazing before lockdown with 24 hr access and a comprehensive range of equipment. Since reopening the staff have been meticulous at Bolton in cleaning down whilst still offering PT services. Whilst the opening isn't currently 24hr it is long enough to offer later and early access. The app is a useful tool to see when the gym is at capacity and hasn't yet under or over stated.
My favourite part of my membership is unlimited access to Yanga water which is delicious and only 4 quid a month extra.
In summary, of the numerous local memberships I have had, Gym Group offers the best value, ease of use and add ons. I have multiple gym access for frequent work travel and this is far lower than some of the 'sportier/fashion branded gyms.

The gym is spacious with a lot a safety measurements in place to reasure our health and safety. The staff is extremely approachable and friendly, always willing to help. Wouldn't be elsewhere.
