This new layout is terrible. There are less machines overall. Previously it was logical, I was able to do whole workouts with machines on one floor, now I have to constantly move between the floors every time…<br><br>For example they moved two of the leg machines from upstairs to the middle of the upper body machine sea next to the outside lockers. How is it logical that after finishing with the adductor machine you have to walk to the other corner of the building on an other floor to use the leg extension machine?<br><br>Also, the class area is closed from the side now and they moved/removed the machines from the front where they created an area that only personal trainers will use + now when there is a class it feels like they are using the whole floor. The area upstairs in the corner has also become cramped because of this change.<br><br>—- But still, it’s a good gym for the price.

Always a fan favourite open 24hrs so very accessible app shows quietest and busiest times. All in all very good.

I love being a member of this gym, the equipment and the changing rooms are always clean and the classes are great as I have tried a few of them.
My favourite class is the fit box I really appreciate how the personal trainer (Connor) is committed in each and every class always bringing new things for us to try, personally I have discovered a passion for boxing and this classes feel like therapy for me. I always leave feeling amazing and wanting to come back.
I also would like to say a big thanks to every single staff in the gym group bolton for such a great work and for always being so supportive.

I absolutely love this place ,it's clean lots of machines hardly ever have to wait for any machines the staff are all friendly and welcoming too.
The other thing that would make this place better if the classes were in a separate room and not infront of everyone in the gym .

Sometimes people fail the payment for just some days and u charge them double pay. That’s happened to me many times. People have different situations I think everyone deserve second chances. Not like we try to take money in your account but it failed now we will try again but u gonna pay £30.199 means £15 more pounds

The gym is well equipped with an enormous amount of equipment. An excellent combination of lifting and cardio machines, mostly available throughout the day and night time. Yes, you read it correctly, the place is 24 hours accessible and provides a hygienic and dedicated space for your exercise.

Amazing place for beginners,friendly people and a great place to start your fitness journey. If you're more of an advanced lifter be wary as they don't have dumbbells over 38kg

Went around 11pm was very busy. There's lots of choice of machines and weights also the gym was very clean.

The Gym Bolton is a clean and spacious no frills gym. It has all the basic cardio and weights although the cardio equipment is quite dated.
The layout of the gym is quite odd with some weights machines downstairs and some upstairs. So if someone is using the pec fly you have to go up to check if the other is in use.
The price is reasonable
They really need some more squat racks and deadlift platforms.
No punch bags
Quite a busy gym, gets packed out.

When thing break they stay broken for way too long - 3 weeks seems to be the average. Not good enough when paying for a membership.
