We are here in Manchester for the first time and was looking for a good spot for late lunch. We found this restaurant and had a an amazing indian food. The service was tlvery good by Sheyama. Thanks for a good experience and m sure when we come back to this place when we visit Manchester again.

Food is lovely, but their service is annoying.
They rush their customers whilst they're eating. I'm halfway through my meal, and then they keep asking if you're done with it. It's annoying because im trying to eat in peace.

Went in today with my fiancé and daughter and we really enjoyed it. Great food and service. We'll definitely be back

Have always enjoyed this place.. Food, drinks, atmosphere.. Now, even our daughter KAIRA enjoys coming to this place and being pampered with love from staff and great food.. We love coming here and enjoying everything they have to offer.. 😄

Started with poppadoms. Crisp, fresh, sauces full of flavour. If a restaurant messes that up you run for the hills. These were spot on. A very good sign.
Then came the chicken tikka masala with naan bread. Looked different to the usual. Creamier, heavier on tomato. At first I thought “what’s going on here?” Then I tasted it. Boom. Plate cleared. Not because the portion was small but because it was that good. Asked the waiter about it, turns out they have a new chef. Whoever he is, keep him.
Staff were lovely. Locals, family, a few newbies still learning the ropes. When I asked about the menu they had to check a couple of things, but they came back smiling and laughing, so it worked. Friendly goes a long way.
The waiter was Super helpful, polite, probably the nicest one there.
Other dishes were tasty, and the traditional tea was a classy touch. Manager checked in, clearly cares. Big TV on the wall showing football. Couldn’t hear it, didn’t distract me. Thank God. Nothing worse than eating curry while some commentator screams about a corner kick.
Menu is huge. Proper curries, plus burgers, nuggets, chips for the kids. They’ve thought about everyone.
Final word: Spice & Spirits smashed it. Great food, big portions, warm staff, a few rough edges that are easy to fix. Walked out happy and already planning to come back.

We went for lunch. Had starter & mains. The food was lovely as were the staff. I don't think it's a lunch place as they had to open up for us and it was about 2pm but they were very welcoming.

Had a takeaway from spice and spirits this evening. The meal was delivered promptly it was well packaged and the food was hot.We had poppadoms onion bhajis chicken shashlik and lamb handi with pilau rice. The food was well cooked well spiced and very tasty. It was great value for money. We will definitely be returning customers

One of the best proper original Indian restaurants I have been to. Got the taste of Indian food. We tried just vegetarian food, so I'm not sure about non-veg, but it was really good.
The mango lassi was the best of all.You also get beer and other drinks too.
Highly recommend for anyone who wants to try proper Indian food.

Tried this place for a takeaway tonight and it was amazing! The butter chicken was delicious, the naan was very tasty. Everything was hot and fresh. Will definitely order again

Went with a group from work, we were all sat together on a long table, the service and food was exceptional. I have never been before as it's not in my local area, but it was lovely, and I would definitely recommend.

Amazing food, very tasty and fresh
Initially our bread was missing from order and let the driver know and before we knew it he had returned with 2 fresh breads even without us having to ask. Thanks so much amazing service, amazing food and will definitely be ordering from here again! Thankyou for a great culnery experience :)

I have visited this establishment multiple times and can confidently conclude that the food is delicious and flavourful. I feel the food is different than other Indian restaurants because you can taste more subtle spices and flavours. Highly recommend and will be visiting again.
