My mother and i went saturday tea time. Both had fish, chips, peas and a pot of tea. All very good. Polite service. Nice surroundings. A definite for chippy tea.

I visited Olympus Fish & Chips for a quick snack whilst waiting for a meeting. I had the turkey, stuffing and gravy barm with a coffee.

nice chips and the batter was nice but for some stupid reason, I choice plaice. it was the most expensive so I thought it may be the best but forgot that it is the fish that has black skin under the batter. not good. cooked nice but the appearance put me right off.

Our party of over 30 people, some with special dietary requirements, were we'll catered for, the staff all are top notch, a great place not only for the food but the service, very well done, many thanks. Satisfied customers

I visited this restaurant yesterday for the first time.What a gem.!!!The food and service couldn`t have been better in a 5 star establishment.The food was great,the service fabulous.We were only having fish and chips but were treated as if we were VIP customers.Well done to all the staff here.Why isn`t everywhere like this?

This is such a lovely welcoming place. Not many fish & chip restaurants that I know where you eat to the wonderful music from a pianist playing a baby grand. The food is well cooked & the staff are all very friendly & go out of their way to make your visit a happy one.

Think of eating places attached to fish and chip shops and one usually thinks of a couple of battered formica tables at the back of the takeaway queuing area.
This place is all carpets, potted ferns, mirrors, chandeliers and even a grand piano. More like a grand hotel than a chippy.
The quality of the fish and chips is beyond doubt - I can only second all the endorsements below. This visit was to check out their breakfasts.
The traditional English. It's OK, but a bit insubstantial. A fried egg, 2 streaky rashers, a sausage, half tomato, beans in a little pot, a round of toast with butter. The tea comes in a pot with a jug of hot water to top it up - another plus point.
No real complaints and I will certainly be back for the fish and chips next time I pass by.

Once again Tasso and his fantastic staff gave us a wonderful meal in their beautiful restaurant with reasonable prices and fish & chips to die for.
The atmosphere, cleanliness, staff and food all excellent. Every time we come here we are yet again amazed by the efficiency of the staff, and how wonderful the food is.
Our group had some special requirements today - a few gluten free, a few fussy eaters and a working Guide Dog - no problem for the Olympus. There quite literally is no room for improvement. Don’t change!!
Thanks again, see you again VERY soon. Can’t wait!

Went to Olympus last evening for my birthday before seeing a show at the Octogon Theatre with my daughter and her partner enjoyed lovely fish chips peas brown and white bread and butter pot of tea pensioners meal as always lovely and friendly been coming here for years my mother loved it 5 stars

We visited this restaurant ad part of a day trip with other coupled ..We wete most impressed. The ambience is very calming ..The owner welcomed us himself ..he was most attentive to everyone.There was chilled wayer on our table for when we arrived, the restaurant was spotless,the staff were very helpfull,The fish n chips were very tasty..at the end of our meal we even had a gentleman play us a tune on the grand piano. A very nice experience and would have no problem reccomending this place to anyone x

Myself and wife Sue enjoyed the fish and chips meal in the Olympus. The meal for two with drinks cost about £17 and was very filling. We will go back soon.

Arrived in Bolton at lunchtime after a harrowing journey from the airport. A good lunch was what was needed but a great lunch was what we got. I had haddock chips and peas and my wife had pudding and chips. They were both top class with the usual high class service. Just the job.

Was a little unsure at Preston to come back via Wigan or Bolton and I thought of Olympus
