What a fantastic chippy. Perfect for a meal before going to see a show at the Octagon. As it's chippy its really quick to come out and always fresh. The service is always amazing, everyone is always so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The pianist playing only adds to the experience making the atmosphere so relaxing. Highly recommend 👌

We are regulars at Olympus. The plaice and cod with chips and peas were delicious as always. The restaurant is beautiful and enhancing the enjoyment is Alan Beavis playing on the grand piano. He plays 4 to 7 every Friday and
Saturday. A perfect occasion.

Great chippy! I’ve enjoyed both the take away food, and the sit-down menu. I normally go for scampi and chips and mushy peas (and tartare sauce of course) and have never been disappointed. I’ve never yet managed to be in at a time when someone’s playing at the piano however, but hopefully that time will come.

The fish and chips was fresh and tasty! The service was also fantastic. The only downside was that the live music was a bit loud. Overall, a great experience.

It was a bit surreal really, very warm welcome, extensive menu - with fairly 'chip shop' food and an in-house pianist. Staff were very friendly, service was quick, but we didn't feel rushed at all. It's not 'fine dining' but it doesn't claim to be that. Good value food.

Excellent place to eat in Bolton. The food was good, the presentation was great and the service was superb! Nice fish and chips, and pies. Great ambience and comfy vibes. The place has a piano so I assume some days there's a pianist playing. Totally recommended, an oasis in Bolton in every single aspect.

Such a great plaice 🐟
A real hidden gem in Bolton for food, atmosphere and like no other dining experience you will have ever had.
The staff are amazing. Especially the little human man manager with the warm greeting and service and dazzling smile. It is unique. And there is a very grand piano that people can randomly get up and play like my dearest friend Andy Yates and his daughter Sylvia. They enchanted us all with The Snowman. A really wonderful warming wintertime time 🎄Definitley going back soon.

From the moment we walked through the front door, we were made to feel welcome, a friendly greeting and shown to a table of our choice. The service was amazing! All staff were friendly, polite and informative. It was quick and easy to order and the food came freshly cooked very quickly and tasted delicious. Would recommend a visit and we will definitely be back. Good value for money too.

My first time here and I was most impressed with the stylish decor and friendly service. I was particularly taken with the conservatory, a light, bright and sunny room. Everything looked spotlessly clean including the toilets. A more extensive menu that I was expecting, not just fish and chips but pizza, moussaka and traditional desserts such as syrup sponge and custard. My only reservation were the chips, they were a good colour but not as crisp as I would have liked. They weren't soggy but soft. I had the homemade cheese and onion pie with chips and beans and I can definitely recommend it. My husband had the haddock and said it was delicious. They're also licensed so you can have a cheeky glass of wine or beer with your meal.

Had a fish and chips lunch today as part of a large coach party and the food was freshly cooked and service was excellent. Good atmosphere with live piano music. Plus there was a bar serving beers and wine. Would certainly recommend and be happy to return
