Love the Octagon- staff and volunteers are lovely and the venue is perfect for shows. I go about every 6-8weeks and look forward to it. Real mix of shows but I try everything, opens your eyes to new productions and actors.

It was the first time I had been to a show here. What an amazing theatre! We took a class to see 80 days around the world, they were mesmerised, as was I! I will definitely be returning.

Theatre in the round. Innovative and clever use of space and props. Uniquely close to the stage. Uninterrupted views wherever you sit.
Around the world in 80 days was a witty and highly entertaining show by very talented singers and actors. Enthralling and funny.
All the staff in the theatre are extremely friendly and in the modern cafe bar.
I look forward to visiting again.

Staff were very pleasant, polite and helpful, but their tshirts are in desperate need of replacing. My seat was full of cat or dog hair, in desperate need of vacuuming. Theatre itself was clean and tidy. Drinks are expensive. A small coffee is tiny. When leaving we had to exit through a single door, which caused a major queue. There is a car park nearby with disabled parking and a lift available, but only on certain floors and it is expensive. There are some disabled parking spaces on the roads nearby. Not sure whether there are lifts in the theatre but to access your seats you have to use stairs unless sat on the front row. The play itself was very enjoyable. Didn't use the toilets, so unable to comment on those.

Had a meal before going to see 'Perfect Nonsense', a PG Wodehouse Jeeves & Wooster play.
The food and service was very good. The Octagon is a really friendly place to be.
The play was sensational. Absolutely hilarious. The three actors worked their socks off to produce one of the funniest nights I've ever been to. Get there if you can.

Fantastic! Watched the Jeeves and Wooster production and it was simply brilliant. Laugh out loud funny. The set was amazing, superb acting especially as there were only 3 actors!

Great theatre. One of the only theatres where I don't think it matters where you sit since all the seats are good.

Jeeves and Wooster - Perfect Nonsense was a triumph. Definitely an afternoon of 1920s frippery delivered to the highest standard.

Went to see A view from the bridge by Arthur Miller. Excellent play really worth going to see. Outstanding actors, cant praise them enough. Not much leg room in my seat and I'm only 4ft 11 so I felt a little constricted. Pre ordered interval drinks would have worked well if we had been told where to collect them from. By the time we has asked someone and located them we only had a couple of minutes left to drink them. Venue was the Octagon in Bolton. Easy to park but there are a lot of corridors and stairs and doors, very confusing! However, I would return to watch another play here.
