Nice tea room, nice pub, all take tastecard so a ยฃ65 lunch became a ยฃ32 one. The only downside to our enjoyable day, my friend was sat on the cast iron bench at the pub, when he started to get up after an hour(as was stiff) the base of the bench split and crashed down, taking him with it.
Wasn't really impressed with that part of the day.
Plus, if I'd sat on the bench as well, it would've been even worse, I use to walking sticks, I'm disabled, with a bad back.
My poor friend is now awaiting a response, luckily there was a surveillance camera which we noticed afterwards that would have caught everything.

Stayed here with the wife yet again as it really is our getaway from the rat race. Booked a night and at the last minute we had to cancel due to a poorly baby we were truly gutted however when we let the hotel know they were great and let us move our stay to a different night. The rearranged stay was outstanding as always great room with excellent customer service by all staff members. The food was delightful and the spa great to recharge our batteries. We gave recommended the last drop to family and friends who all have started to use the hotel and lobe it.
