I've stayed in many hotels throughout my life, but Last Drop had the absolute best staff I've ever encountered, especially Anna, Darius and Adam. They just don't accept defeat and are determined to deliver whatever it is you need. It was more like staying with family the way they took care of us. The Tea Room was so nice and the whole setting is just like stepping back in time, a true "village" setting. Very quiet at night. Comfortable beds. But, lots of stairs. One word of warning, the Expedia description says the rooms have air conditioning. They do not.

Came from USA to move my elderly father home. Very stressful. Everyone at The Last Drop has treated us like family visiting. Every need and want was met above and beyond. Darius, Adam and Anna were angels to us. Was the best hotel ever, thank you!

Thanks Tina, always nice for international visitors to stay with us #familymatters I have passed your comments on to the team
Very good stay overall. Desk staff responded promptly to request to quieten next door room's party/loud conversations.
The occupants then moved to a room further down the corridoor - more noise but muted.
Breakfasts were excellent. However due to changing plans we had to vacate early on the last day and were unable to have
breakfast. Unfortunately we were not able to be given a refund. Management needs to review this policy in the light of best practice customer service.

Thanks Angela for the great feedback, hope to see you soon
Excellent staff who go out of their way for you. Hotel looks good from the outside but the rooms, although clean are in need a bit of a facelift ( updating etc).

I booked this hotel for my sisters hen do and was met with a lovely welcome on reception. The facilities are lovely and the staff are extremely friendly. Whilst we did not use the spa, we could see how others enjoyed these amenities and everything looked clean. The buffet style breakfast had a great range of both hot and cold options. We all had a great stay and would highly recommend

Lovely hotel in a great location. Beautiful scenery. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly and efficient. Breakfast was very good, buffet style but still with full English, you just choose what and how much you want. The spa looked nice although I didn't visit it but wish I had had the time to go in and enjoy the pool. Bedroom was large and the bed was very comfortable. The only thing I would say is that it would have been nice to have biscuits in the bedroom and maybe a fridge for fresh milk.

A big 5 stars to the staff of the Last Drop Hotel and Spa who have recognised the needs of disabled visitors and guests. There is now a proper ramp at the entrance to the hotel and the disabled parking places are now monitored. There are notices in the changing rooms of the Spa reminding people to respect the designated spaces, and any visitor or guest not displaying a badge is likely to get a notice on the windscreen of their car.
It would be good if other businesses in Bolton could follow this example.....it makes such a huge difference to those who need these spaces

A very scenic location on the edge of the Lancashire moors. The new entrance lobby enhances the front of the building giving it a welcoming feel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and tidy and kept so throughout our stay.
The swimming pool is an added bonus with five different types of sauna and a hot pool. The spa area was a little tired and needed some refurbishment.

Would definitely go back. It was reasonably priced, our room was spacious with a giant bed and a good sized bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful and the setting is quite unusual. Next time I'd swim in the pool as it looked quite inviting.

Very pleasant & helpful staff at the hotel, from the manager through to the cleaners. Currently undergoing a little cosmetic work & the room was a little tired, but very comfortable & relaxing. The restaurant food was excellent, but make sure that you take your credit card, it was a bit expensive! Breakfast is buffet style with an good choice & good value. Overall a very pleasant stay, the spa facilities are very good indeed.

We found the room to be adequate and spotless. Nice en-suite. The spa is great and the hydrotherapy pool is a treat. Very good food. The most impressive aspect of this hotel is the warm and friendly staff, who were professional and efficient. Jonathan the Chef is a particularly good bloke who was nice to my partner and tried to comfort them on the day of a difficult funeral. Thankyou.

We enjoyed our stay very much and will be staying again, we visit family in the area and have stayed in various hotels round Bolton. We have found this one to be the best and will use it every trip. The swimming pool and facilities are excellent everything in working order and very clean.

They should not charge guests if they have a visitor for going to the pool. Our family was charged 60 pound thats nesrly 80 to 100 dollars for visiting us at our hotel at last drop and going swimming. It was rediculous. They tend to treat what should be a normal thing like pool gym and sauna as a normal part of the hotel like its a luxury and treat it like a seperate entity to the hotel, they were tight with towels barely giving you one and ypu had to ask for them. I have travelled alot and never experienced this environment or perdicument when we got visitors. The elevator went out we were on third floor my mother in law had to be emergency firedrill style brought down three flights of stairs she hurt her back and they didnt comp us one thing. We had to change rooms as well due to the one elevator being out of service. Village is nice.

If I had known that refurbishments were taking place in would have gone elsewhere. I was attending a wedding and the front reception and bar area where cold and not pleasant to be in.

Was looking for a hotel with a great pool this was important for us as we took our autistic grandson and he loves the water I did say to the guy on the reception of the pool see you in 3hrs well it was 4hrs he loved it they also have disabled changeing room. When we arrived the young man on the desk was amazing so helpful an asset to this hotel many thanks to him. There is building being done at the moment but it was no big issue ,we had a great meal in the restaurant and again they went the extra mile to find the food my grandson liked. We booked breakfast and it was a great selection I would recommend it.Thanks again for making my grandson so welcome we will be back in the next holidays

We really enjoyed our trip, the swimming pool was great as was the saunas and heated outside pool, the beds were comfortable and our neighbours quite quiet which was a blessing. Massages are £40 for 25 minutes but you get 10% off for staying in the hotel. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The village tea room was great and staff lovely, very accommodating. Really nice shop selling trinkets, cards and toys and a pub which we didn't have time to go in. Our trip was very busy and we would like to come back and enjoy what the Hotel has to offer.

Had a very pleasant stay ,after being moved on the second night of our visit room 85 around the back and noisy door didnt fit properly and let in a lot of light ,but we asked to be moved and nothing was too much trouble at reception moved to room 71 which is inside the main building much better because of this move our stay was extreemely pleasant staff are helpful
and efficient bathrooms are very modern, but I found it impractical as the sink is only 2 to 3 inches deep although 2 feet wide loo roll is to far away from the loo ok if your a gorrilla !!! plus new showers leak around the head connection (press in not screw thread) and water leaks out from the shower screen oh yes the tv`s are situated by the bathroom door covering the light switch for the bathroom but having said all this it really is a lovely place to stay we will be back again most definetly .
