Had a lovely overnight stay at the Last Drop Inn, would highly recommend to anyone to do the same.

Total bliss n relaxation in the Thermal Pool ... which goes outdoors so you lie in hot water feeling rain on your face - makes you feel alive!!! All good in other areas... pillows mega comfy and room very clean. Weakness - tiling/grouting in leisure area showers was grotty.

Food was good and the staff were helpful however the room was rather disappointing being large and characterless /dated with a rock hard mattress and pillows in a soulless extension down corridors and through fire doors

Room was good, as was the wifi strength. Plenty of (free) parking.

Lots of noise at night though.

Pleasant stay. Spa facilities are excellent. Very comfortable room but was in the courtyard and as it was raining we got soaked walking across from the main hotel. Didn't have breakfast as it was too expensive.

Staff we very nice and professional, our room (82) was a little tired but the whole Spa complex was very nice. Bathroom shower glass did not do its job perhaps because of the fluctuations in shower pressure making an interesting challenge. Food was good with a certain amount of Master Chef poetic license on menu descriptions. Wedding looked good and it was a popular birthday treat judging by the numerous balloons! In sum I would recommend, with slight improvements to consider

Thanks Jenna for the great staff feedback
I booked a three night stay and ate at the excellent restaurant on the three nights. I had a nice room with a good view of the grounds surrounding the hotel which is a feature of this hotel. The bathroom looked as if it had been recently refurbished - all shiny and new. I was on my own and as I didn't have my car with me I travelled away from the hotel by car and sometimes taxi. The staff were most helpful in telling me what buses to catch and I used the bus service quite a lot. All the staff were friendly and helpful

Have stayed at Last Drop for the last ten years. Great it is now undergoing a refurb. Great beds, Freeview tv.

I was given an upgrade which was great.

The only problem I was that the room, which faced the rear of the hotel didn't have a mobile signal!

Apart from that a great stay - keep up the refurb.

We had a lovely mini break. I was looking for a reasonably priced spa break and it was worth driving up from London for this (approx £500 all incl for family room, 4 meals & 2 hrs spa treatments). Very friendly family hotel. Busy weekend (3 weddings + 4 anniversaries) but didn't seem crowded. Spa was lovely - changing rooms need an upgrade, esp showers - but pool and jacuzzi gr8 esp power jet. love 2x steam rooms & saunas - slice of heaven! Spa rooms lovely. Not plush but Northern charm. Recommend. (ps gr8 family room for couple & 1 child)

Didn't feel the description of "excecutive rooms" was a true description, they looked tired and did not have the double sofa bed in with which it stated, instead a roll away single bed with a flimsy mattress, the bath robes had seen better days and quite a mix up at breakfast with the hotel saying we had not paid for, which clearly we had and had a print out to show this, all the staff could say it was a mix up( very embarrassing I might add ) by hotels.com who had not forwarded it on the hotels system, just passing the buck I think as they were not there to defend themselves, who knows who's error this was,but not a nice experience .

We were staying as a family for my sons wedding among a lot of other family members and I feel because they had a large wedding on site, attention was focused on this. From getting there on the Friday evening ther was no where to park ! We ended up at the back near the spa and gymn which wasn't ideal as we had quite a long way to go to unload the car. The second thing was we booked excecutive rooms, which in my opinion were just standard rooms with an extra put up bed in, not the double sofa bed as stated, the bath robes had seen better days, so all in all disappointed for the money we paid. To top it all we went down for breakfast on the Sunday morning and informed by the restaurant manager ?? We had not got breakfast included, I informed him we had and he insisted he would go and check on the computer, came back to us and said we definitely hadn't,which was very embarrassing,I told him we had a print out in the room stating this and he wouldn't listen but said he would waiver the charge. By this time breakfast was the last thing on my mind,as it was humiliating as other people could here what was being said and it made out we were trying to get breakfast free. I later went and got the print out and took it to reception, and all they said was they were sorry but it was hotel.com fault as they hadn't shown it on the booking,??? This just put a blot on our whole wedding weekend and not sure if I would book the last drop again.

Enjoyable - wedding on as well, but it's a big enough venue as not to impact on us. Had breakfast before as well - well organised.

Excellent staff. Lunch, dinner, and bar meal choices definitely much better than breakfast. Hotel still under refurbishment, so was woken up by drilling and hammering at 0800 many mornings. Beautiful grounds. Many spa services available, but unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to partake in them. Maybe next time!

From the moment I arrived the staff were helpful and friendly, always with a smile on their faces.
The recently refurbished room was extremely clean and comfortable; with stylish furniture. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was spacious.
The buffet style breakfast was well cooked and hot.
Overall a very comfortable experience!
