It was a great networking event in a relaxed setting. The young people who spoke were a credit to the organisation and themselves. The food was fab and the young people who cooked it were brilliant. Well done to Maura and the whole team who work so hard to help make an impact and support our young people and guiding them to a brighter future.

This was my 3rd networking event an lunch for The Best Of Bolton & Bolton Young Persons Homeless Scheme, this time put on by 'BYPHS-The Lucas Project'. A good attendance from Members of TBOB & others an Staff at BYPHS, happy to meet few regulars Aswell as new faces!, there was a pleasant atmosphere with good refreshments-made by the staff at BYPHS (that number of people complimented on how tasty an the effort!). Great effort for ALL, Maura Jackson and her team for hosting especially the two youngsters that spoke of their experiences,,"the courage, very heart warming and inspirational!", good to see how it changes lives to so many youngsters in the community (in 14 months so many changes there!) Keep up the good work. Positive input the organisation has in local area helping vulnerable youth get back on track!.

I have known Maura Jackson and Bolton Young Persons Housing Scheme for many years and have always admired both its work and principles and Maura's role in leading the charity. It does remarkable work with young homeless people and it's hard to imagine what would happen to them without BYPHS. Maura is a practical, innovative and inspirational leader and it always feels like a privilege to support the scheme and Maura.

I have lived on bolton young persons housing scheme for about 6 months. I came on to the scheme with a lot of problems and debt. I didn't know how to look after myself very well or have much confidence in anything I do and now 6 months later I am becoming a confident 20 year old that know s how to manage her money, knows how to cook fresh healthy meals and can look after herself a lot more now. BYPHS has been a life changing scheme for me so far and will carry on being a life changing scheme for as long as I am a young person on the scheme. And I woudnt of been able to become the person I am today without my and the other support workers or householders on the scheme ! Thank you for everything you've done and are going to do for me ! Xx

It is an honour to be associated with such an organisation. In the years I have worked in homeless sector I have never know an organisation to be so in touch with the people they support and the communities in which they work. The town and people of the town should be proud to have such an organisation based in Bolton delivering such a person centred service

BYPHS are leaders in their field offering supported housing to young homeless people. More than just bricks and mortar they offer combined emotional and practical support to younhg people who feel they have nothing left to live for when they've only just begun. The y offer care and tough love for some of the most challenging young people around because they never give up on anyone.
