Pantomime for Christmas 2009  in Bognor Regis

The bar has been raised at The Regis Centre this year, as the great pantomime Peter Pan wings its way into Bognor Regis.

There is probably a little bit of the central character in John Barrie’s famous story – the boy who would never grow up – in all of us, especially when it comes to enjoying the quintissentially British form of theatre entertainment, the pantomime.

Panto’s have gone from strength to strength in the impressive auditorium of The Regis Centre, and this year sees the most ambitious of all productions with this particular version of Peter Pan, with Spillers Pantomime Company back for another successful season.

Running from 10th December to 3rd January, this is an opportunity to get a passport to the magical world of Never Land. Take the children with you, if you need an excuse, and wonder at the flying of Peter Pan in his adventures with the Darling children, and his encounters with Captain Hook and his band of pirates. There is a big professional cast, with not only pirates, but the lost boys, mermaids in the the Mermaid Lagoon, and “Snappy”the ticking crocodile.

Make your Christmas, and enjoy a fun-filled traditional British pantomine. A great way to really bring the Seasonal spirit to your family.

Oh yes it is!!!

Brought up on the South Coast, and with over 15 years in Bognor Regis, I love the place. Not everything is right, here, but nowhere is perfect. We are the sunshine capital of the mainland UK!
