Anyone will tell you that in today’s difficult economic climate, finding a job isn’t easy. The next generation coming into the workplace are finding it tougher than ever to find work, so every additional skill they have matters.

With this in mind, Bishop’s Stortford recruitment agency, RecruitAbility – who are already well known for giving back to the local community – went to Leventhorpe School in Sawbridgeworth to help conduct mock interviews for Year 13 students. The mock interviews resembled a real interview as much as possible; the children were expected to conduct themselves as if they were sitting an actual job interview and RecruitAbility provided valuable, constructive feedback.

This kind of experience is a great way for the students to prepare for entering the workforce, helping young people understand what is expected in a real interview situation, and how they can improve the way they present themselves.

In fact, many of the questions asked were interview questions from actual employers, and who better to know what employers want than RecruitAbility?!

Are you a local business?
