thebestof’s recent 14 Days of Love was all about recognising the efforts small, independent businesses have on the local community and the impact they have on the UK’s struggling economy.
It is no secret that small businesses have kept the country going throughout the recession and ongoing harsh economic climate, but we think that they don’t always get the attention, recognition or support they deserve. That’s why the 14 Days of Love exists – fourteen days of unadulterated passion, kissing and telling and sharing the love for our local traders!
During 2012’s 14 Days of Love campaign, local businesses in Bishop’s Stortford received hundreds of testimonials and recommendations from satisfied customers. And a closely fought contest from start to finish, with 75 testimonials added in just 14 days, the ‘Most Loved’ business in town for the second year in a row is Mutts Animal Beauty Centre!
Owner, Angela Caley and her team, Aimee Farrow and Robyn Hassin, are totally dedicated to providing the best possible service to their customers and their pets, and the care offered by the groomers is legendary in the local area.
On receiving her certificate, Angela commented: “Amiee, Robyn and I are delighted to win, it means a great deal to us to know all our customers love Mutts as much as we do. A huge thank you to all our customers, we feel a real sense of pride receiving this award”.
Located on Newtown Road, Bishop’s Stortford, Mutts Animal Beauty Centre was not only top of the Bishop’s Stortford Love-O-Meter, but was also a runner-up in the UK-wide ‘Dog and Cat Grooming’ category.
