Google Wave!
Google Wave is the new big thing! It is the new web application for real-time communication and collaboration. A wave is equal parts conversation and document; people can communicate and work together with richly formatted text, photos, videos, maps and more. Any participant can reply anywhere in the message, edit the content and add participants at any point in the process. Then playback lets anyone rewind the wave to see who said what and when. With live transmission as you type, participants on a wave can have faster conversations, see edits and interact with extensions in real-time.
“We have achieved major time savings and greatly accelerated productivity by utilizing Wave. We’re excited to grow alongside the Wave platform and to contribute insights back to Google so they can consistently make Wave more excellent for teams like us.”
This is a quote I found on the Google website from a business owner who has been using Google Wave. I have not yet had the chance to have a go so if any of you readers out there have already experienced a Wave then let me know what you think!
