Firstly, who we are: Basingstoke Round Table we raise money for local charities and people in need. We also have evenings out doing all sorts of things like kayaking and archery. Recently we visited Hollywood Bowl to check out the new VIP bowling in Basingstoke.
Our hostess with the mostess was Justine and she was great. She made sure our group had what we wanted and needed for a great evenings bowling. She took food and drink orders, which was great value, and made sure we had the right bowling balls. She also sorted out any lane issues as they happened.
The VIP lounge is excellent! Very comfortable and has plush red curtains just like the entrance to a stage. There are red neon VIP lights and decor, it feels like you are in your very own bowling alley.
It's great value as well at only an extra £1 per player. So far the whole experience we'd give a 10/10 and would recommend Hollywood Bowl Basingstoke as a great evening out. We had two players with high scores and they even ended up with their names on the top score board for the day. A thoroughly good night out.
