It's the season for scares, the time for terror and the month for mischief. For some of you, this may be a year-round kind of thing although for everyone else, there is Halloween. Once again, there is plenty you could be doing in Basingstoke this October to celebrate the night where the dead walk again, witches cavort with Frankenstein's monster, and scantily-clad catwomen are far too frequent (or not as the case may be). All across Basingstoke, events are taking place for the whole family to enjoy, promising you a great time and threatening to scare you senseless in the process. However, for those of a more nervous disposition, there is also plenty to do that isn't so scary. So, here's just a few . . .
Half term Halloween Fun at Milestones
Join Milestones Museum in Basingstoke for some Half Term Halloween Fun. Try the spooky Halloween trail which you can collect from the audio guide desk. Check the notice board on arrival for times of our costumed interpreter presentations and the 40s sweet shop opening times.

Youngerland Halloween Fancy Dress Party
Tuesday 30th October is a special Halloween Fancy Dress night at Wonderland Nightclub Basingstoke for the under 18s.
Entrance is just £10 on the night (fancy dress optional but encouraged!)
Halloween Fun Day at Queen Mary’s College
Wednesday 31st October from 9.30am to 3.30pm
Fun 1/2 term activities, to include various styles of dancing such as ballet to the mystical soundtrack of Harry Potter and learn to street dance like a zombie. Make a creepy crawly bookmark, script work from the Worst Witch, funky phantom face paints, fancy dress competition, games and MORE!
Come and join in the fun! For kids aged 4-12years Only £20 per child for the day!

Ghost Walks in Basing House

Families are invited to join us for a spooktacular ghost walk on Halloween night at Basing House... if you dare! Walks will start at 6pm and 7.15pm. Dress up in your spookiest costumes. The walk will be followed by hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows.
Suitable for aged 5 yrs+. Please bring a lantern or torch and suitable walking footwear (Please DO NOT bring candle lights/ oil lanterns.) Pre-book only as spaces will be limited - please see 'Book Now' link below to book your tickets.
