Recognising the effort that local businesses put in to making their premises welcoming and Christmassy for their customers and clients we decided to run a little competition.
Any business in the Basingstoke area was invited to enter a photo of their Christmas display. It was then up to the public to vote for the best.
With a prize for the business with the best display and a prize draw that everyone who voted was entered into, it soon became a popular competition.
The top three businesses were all close, but the winner was Lamb Brooks with their beautiful tree surrounded by the collection they had made for the local food bank. A deserving winner. They were presented with a bottle of champagne and some Christmas cookies from Bramley Bakery.
The prize draw was won by Laura Bell who was thrilled with her bottle of champagne for Christmas.
