It’s the news festival goers have been waiting for – tickets for B LOVE music festival are on sale and ready to be snapped up at www.blovemusic.com  

Pick from a day or weekend ticket and get ready to enjoy a fantastic mix of live music and family entertainment from over 70 acts in the War Memorial Park, Basingstoke on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 July. 

Secure a Saturday ticket for £10 for an adult or £2 for a teenager (plus booking fee) and see one of the brightest new stars in dance music Wilkinson headline the Main Stage. The DJ and record producer, who is best known for his top five chart hit ‘Afterglow’ which sold 500,000 copies and gained 65 million YouTube views, will perform his DJ set featuring MC Ad-Apt.  

Alternatively ‘Put your hands on’ a Sunday ticket at the same prices and get ready to be entertained by rock band and popular festival performers Reef who will play their classic hits, as well as songs from their recently released new album ‘Revelation’. 

Fancy both? Simply sign up for a weekend ticket for £15 for an adult or £3 for a teenager (plus booking fees) and enjoy a fun-packed weekend featuring something for everyone from drum ‘n’ bass to rock ‘n’ roll and everything in between over five stages. Entry for children 12 and under is free when accompanied by a paying adult.   

The highly-anticipated ticket news comes at the same time as the full line-up for the music festival, which is supported by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council and programmed by the B LOVE Forum, is unveiled. 
Hot picks for the Saturday include Berna, Matt Wills and Lyrical D on the Main Stage; Growla and The Wholls on the Electric Soup stage; Sonic Boom Six and Dream State on the Amped Stage; YGG and Jammz at the Verbal Remedies Stage and Skibadee and Logan D on the Love Bass Stage. 

Highlights on the Sunday include The Treatment and Sugarman Sam and the Voodoomen on the Main Stage; Natasha Watts and DREADZY at Electric Soup; Hacktivist and Absentees at Amped, New Town Kings and Solo Banton at the SunJam Stage. 

In addition to all the music younger festival goers will have plenty to keep them entertained, with free activities for children including storytelling, arts and crafts, face painting, music workshops and a percussion playground for youngsters to explore. Under-10s will also be able to discover a magical forest filled with nature activities, musical instrument making and much more. 

More family entertainment will come in the form of an innovative outdoor performance ‘Ride’ by Zoielogic Dance Theatre on Saturday and a spectacular aerial show ‘Belly of the Whale’ from theatre company Ockham’s Razor on Sunday. 

The council’s Arts and Events Manager Ross Harvie said: “We’re excited to be able to show off the full line-up for B LOVE for the first time. Thanks to the hard work of the B LOVE Forum, Basingstoke-born performers will be sharing the same stage as chart-topping acts and hot new talent in their genre of music. This year’s festival is bolder and better than ever before offering a diverse mix of music, displays and family-friendly activities, there truly is something for everyone.
