Festival Place’s Business Performance Manager, Rachel Moss, was recently recognised at the annual and highly established SCEPTRE Awards. Taking place at the Dorchester hotel in London’s Park Lane, on 21st June, Rachel was Highly Commended in the Retail Liaison Management Award category.

Recognising best practice in shopping centre Business Performance, Rachel was nominated for the award, having demonstrated her commitment to improving relationships between Festival Place management and retailers. Rachel’s nomination is a testament to the way in which she has positively improved communication through one-to-one visits and by introducing new and innovative correspondence to retailers, area managers and marketing contacts.

In her role as Business Performance Manager, Rachel has seen trading compliance rise from 66% to 98% and a change in trading hours for Saturdays and Christmas, fully supported by retailers.  Rachel’s hard work has also included implementing a ‘Retail Monthly Award’ to motivate retailers and customer-based retailer awards, set to launch later this year.

Commenting on the win, Festival Place Centre Director, Steven Connolly said, “We are delighted that Rachel has been recognised at the SCEPTRE Awards. Rachel is always on hand for the retailers and gives 100% commitment to the store managers with help and assistance when needed.”
