ABOUT US
We are the only baseball club in Essex that have both youth and adult baseball. Our aim is to increase participation in the sport with a goal of having our own Essex based youth league.
We formed in December 2009 and so far have three teams all registered and ready to play in the Southern Section of the British Baseball Leagues both youth and adult.
Baseball is one of the top five world team sports. Male and female, boys and girls can play in the same team at all age groups.
The Academy is located at Forest Glade Youth Football Club at Barleylands Road, Billericay Essex, and in Chelmsford, Essex supporting adult and youth baseball across Essex, East London and East Anglia.
We have two adult teams and two youth teams for Season 2010. One adult team is playing in the AAA British Baseball League and the other adult team will be playing friendly games against Single A and Double AA BBF League teams with the aim of joining the BBF Leagues in 2011. Our youth teams are for age groups 9-13 years (Bronco) and 13-16 years (Pony) and both play in the BBF South Youth Leagues.
We warmly welcome any players of any ability at any age whether starting to play baseball for the first time or highly experienced and are actively seeking new players for our senior and youth teams.
BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY
We have backing in various ways from both Basildon and Chelmsford councils, we also receive various donations from local businesses, mainly equipment that we can use.
We are looking for a small injection of funds to complete our second baseball diamond that will be based in Basildon and will be used by our youngest team and for our youth training.
We are not looking for massive amount of funds ideally we would like a low four figure amount, that will enable us to complete a diamond for youth and to purchase some more safety equipment.
In the world of sport we are on the lowest rung of the ladder, but we believe we have the drive and enthusiasm to achieve our goals. Is there any help you could give this new and exciting project?

We have just linked with a youth football club that will give us access to over 300 children.
We have a schools programme in place, and students can use their knowledge of baseball towards their GCSE grades.
We have the support of BSUK and a MLB envoy from the USA formerly a European scout for the NY Yankees and the Milwaukee Brewers will be taking some training sessions during our season.
